The litmus test here is that we're talking about people who, if you mentioned over coffee that you fancied them, your friends would wrinkle their noses and say, "Oh, God - really? Ew. No, no no - I can't see the attraction at all."

Adam Driver is just straight up hot. If you saw him walking down the street, you wouldn’t go “oh his face is a bit wonky”, you’d be struck by the cheekbones, the luscious flowing hair and the fact he’s massive and you could climb him
like a tree.

On the subject of gone-to-seed men, I’ve never found Kenneth Branagh remotely attractive until I saw Wallander. I can only say disheveled and depressed suits him rather well.
