Mine was Langtrys in Beckenham. Absolute shit hole. We used to get in from 15 years old as the bouncers just asked for our date of birth and star sign! Would sneak bottles of wine in hidden in the lining of coats. Loads of weird, pervy men. Constant fights. I shudder to think of dd in that environment but 13yo me thought it was amazing.

Tru in Brighton. Amazing place, so many great memories. Every surface was sticky, the toilets were horrendous and the music was cheesy, but it was such a good club. I no longer live anywhere near Brighton but was still gutted when I heard it closed. There was also Oceana we used to go to when we needed a break from Tru but it stank of feet and BO and just wasn't as... nice, though that isn't the right word.

We used to go to The Carlton and the Empire in Morecombe in the 90s. Loved it.

Blue Monkey in Sunderland. Underage drinking paradise

Locally we went to the Juicy Duck in Bishops Stortford - later renamed as H20. Absolute shithole with sticky floors and minging loos

A big night out was Dukes in Chelmsford or Eros in Enfield

There was another club in Chelmsford we went to but I cannot for the life of me remember it’s name

me, being a classy girl used to frequent Ritzys and Vaults in Kingston, occasionally Park Avenue in Richmond when desperate (normally just go to the Firkin), or Whirl-y-gig and Heaven but they were classy

In Perth, Aus Beckenham is near a suburb called Burswood, and in Burswood there is a long-standing brothel called Langtrees. I did a double take for a second there …. 😅

Glad to see the mention of Bojangles in Guildford! So much fun had there between 1994 and 1998. Upstairs was quieter with imo better music - downstairs was mayhem. Gary Barlow and Mark Owen came in one night too! Your feet started sticking to the floor before you even got in the place and the very mature bouncer (I think 50 plus when I asked him) tried to get me (18-22) to come home with him every week without fail. I know I’m not special though as he would just move on to the next very young girl as soon as I said no! Good times 😁

Underage girls from a wide, rural hinterland would pile into taxis on a Thursday or Friday night and head to this magical emporium, where you could drink till dawn (okay, 1am), dance your stilettos off, and never get IDed.

Every surface was sticky but the bar back was mirrored and we felt like we were in a Duran Duran video, until the lights came up.

HA HA, Rutherfords... so dodgy on the end of the pier. Not sure how no one drowned 😲 Saw Baby D there and a few other cheesy acts. Flappers in Worthing (fondly known as Slappers), Illusions... all suitably decked out with sticky carpets. On the flip side...Sterns was just the BEST
