Mine was Langtrys in Beckenham. Absolute shit hole. We used to get in from 15 years old as the bouncers just asked for our date of birth and star sign! Would sneak bottles of wine in hidden in the lining of coats. Loads of weird, pervy men. Constant fights. I shudder to think of dd in that environment but 13yo me thought it was amazing.

I had my 25th birthday party in The Cooperage

That fug of hairspray, fags and Kouros, the puddles of sticky cocktail vomit and nights that always featured a bunch of girls with massive perms screaming “leave it Darren” at a couple of blokes having a punch up in the car park …

Fatty Arbuckles and the Pink Parrot in Coventry. I didn't even go to a club until I was 19 but soon made up for it . Loved a good boogie 😁

There was also Level One which was in the basement of the Chatham Street car park.

I wouldn't class the ones I went to from that list as shit clubs and fortunately the hippodrome wasn't one that I used to go to!

I've been to them all except SW1 and Legends and they were all pretty awful except Bagleys and Heaven.

Many a night spent in Maestroes - age 13 at the under 18s night before rapidly progressing to the over 18s night at around 14! Then when we couldn't get in there anymore we moved on to Lingards which has to be the lowest of the low! This was mid to late 90s. Good times!

15 - 17 years old a four story building that was literally falling apart called star coffee bar and disco in Halesowen in the midlands had the disco part on the top floor and a coffee bar on the floor below, if there had been a fire there all of us would have perished, Tiffanys in Blackheath now a big DIY store, then moved to Croydon so Tiffanys in Purley, Cinatras and cant remember the name but a small night club near surrey street market good times , i don't go in there but there is a well know dive in Halifax where i now live called the Acapulco its taken them 30 years to change the carpets was famous for sticking to the floor

Harvey's in Rotherham. Just off the market, with a tiny dance floor. But I loved it.

I suspect you may be slightly older than me. I was going to these clubs roughly 93-97. Maybe they went downhill! Or maybe it depends on how you define it. The Cabbage Patch was shit in many ways but I absolutely loved it

Barrow in Furness, in the 80's. The 99 club. Local word was, "They search you for weapons on the way in, and if you don't have any, they give you one". Many happy drunken nights spent there.

Oh yes. Many a time, legendary club! Andy C, Fabio and Grooverider and many other D&B djs. You could pretty much openly smoke weed before the smoking ban, lots of gurning people with saucer eyes.

Ah the watered down booze, questionable buffet and sticky carpets 😁
