How long do you kept birthday cards on display?

Totally trivial I know! Not sure how it cropped up in conversation last night with a group of friends, but somehow we ended up talking about how long we keep birthday cards on display.
One person said they look at them and put them straight in recycling; one puts them up but takes them down the day after their birthday. The rest between 'a few days' and a week.
As said, appreciate it's really not important but am weirdly intrigued!

A week. The person you know who said they just look and chuck them away should just tell people that’s what they do and not to buy them, what a waste of card and money. Same if they only keep them up for a day actually.

I don't think it's a waste not to have them on display for longer than a day, which is how long teen DC cards stay for up for.

I don't put mine up at all, but I keep any special cards and still have things like a birthday telegram from my great grandparents.

A week. As someone who takes a great deal of care to make the card relevant to the person I could be very upset with the read and throwers.

No greetings card should exceed 15cm x10cm in size.
All greetings cards should be able to be recycled .

I don't put them on display, they are in a pile on the mantlepiece.

I’ve told everyone who sends us cards not to, that we don’t display them and I put them in the recycling. They still send them. ‘It’s your birthday’ is all we get. Apparently, our birthday means we don’t get listened to, they just do what they like. So tough, read and recycle.
