It's Friday, you want something delicious and easy to cook but can't stretch to a takeaway. What are you having?

We're having super noodles with chopped up hot dogs.

Nothing beats a nasty Friday tea.

Sausage and mash with bisto gravy.

Or a Dr Oetker pizza.

WelshNerd · 10/03/2023 18:21

Lndnmummy · 10/03/2023 19:18

Decafflatteplease · 17/03/2023 10:30

Friday again yay! Love this thread!

We are having spaghetti Bolognese / spaghetti carbonara as some like one some like another. Already got Bolognese mix in freezer so it's easy. And garlic bread.

BarrelOfOtters · 17/03/2023 10:47

Going out with work - there'll be dead things on sticks and a beige buffet.

AliasGrape · 17/03/2023 14:16

Proper lazy tonight - using up some cheese, olives, salad and dips from the fridge. DH picked up some lovely crusty bread on his lunch. He’ll have some ham too.

DD not too well, getting over a sickness bug so I’m not sure she’ll want much dinner but I’ll do her something fairly plain and easy too - scrambled eggs or similar.

Decafflatteplease · 21/04/2023 14:46

Friday again!

Fake away....Salt and pepper chicken chow mein here. Having a proper takeaway tomorrow though it's been ages so really excited!

BarrelOfOtters · 21/04/2023 15:27

Nigella pea and pancetta orzo 'risotto' - home alone and want something I can mindlessly spoon into my mouth within 10 minutes of arriving home from dog walk.

Lsquiggles · 21/04/2023 15:40

Fish fingers, waffles, beans and a boiled egg if I cba 😁

Monkeybutt1 · 21/04/2023 15:46

Slow cooker Chicken Korma
Also having takeaway tomorrow, I can't wait

Aposterhasnoname · 21/04/2023 15:46

Fish pie, but I could murder a curry with all the trimmings.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 21/04/2023 16:59

Spinach and ricotta ravioli (Asda ready made, cooks in 5 minutes) with a tub of their tomato and basil sauce.

PlainJanePerfect · 22/04/2023 19:14

I am splitting the difference and making burgers in the pan but we might get a chippy for the chips as they are cheap- and better the oven ones.

We're also done homemade curry but will go get a lassi or a mixed chaat.

It still feels like a treat but is a bit of a cheat.

Decafflatteplease · 05/05/2023 09:51

Friday again folks!!

It's chicken fajitas here. Might also do frozen garlic breaded mushrooms.

CornishGem1975 · 05/05/2023 11:09

Probably an old school cheese and potato pie but I'm craving a burger.

A580Hojas · 05/05/2023 16:17

Mozarella, avocado, roasted tomato and basil. I'm going extra fancy tonight and will do some garlic bread on the griddle pan.

Moomoola · 31/05/2023 19:00

Just discovered fish! Fry then melt butter lemon juice and capers. On French bread warmed in air fryer. Yummo!
or tomato and olives cut into pasta with whatever cheese.
shame Dh and ds don’t like either🤪

BarrelOfOtters · 02/06/2023 07:38

yesterdAt had lamb chops on bbq with leftover new potatoes fried up with garlic, tomato, courgette and spinach. Left over half a M£s little salad and some bbq asparagus , left over salad from lunch. Feta crumbled on top and mint yoghurt dip. In the garden in the sun. Delicious.

Moomoola · 04/07/2023 21:44

Just tried baked Brie and bread as a pp suggested. Thanks, ‘twas yummo
