It's Friday, you want something delicious and easy to cook but can't stretch to a takeaway. What are you having?

We're having super noodles with chopped up hot dogs.

Nothing beats a nasty Friday tea.

I'm doing a chicken and spinach curry tonight with pilau rice and shop bought naans and poppadoms

Gazumperrotunda · 16/12/2022 11:27

It's steak night for us tonight.Loads of blue cheese sauce and beer battered chips.Calories don't count from Friday to Sunday.

Squeezylemonsqueezy · 16/12/2022 13:34

We are having spag bol with cheesy garlic bread and salad.

Furries · 16/12/2022 17:26

From the chiller section at M&S - chunky chicken and vegetable soup, plus will do some part-baked rolls. It’s my favourite soup and perfect for a chilly evening.

There may also be a glass or two of red wine.

DashingWhiteSergeant · 16/12/2022 17:39

Frozen veggie pizza

Decafflatteplease · 16/12/2022 17:46

treadcarefully · 17/12/2022 00:30

It's the first Friday of the new year 🍜🍾

Laalaapopo · 06/01/2023 07:54

I'm going to do fajitas with thin strips of minute steak plus an avocado salad and easy spiced roast potatoes that I saw a recipe for online.Roll on 5pm 🎉

Dragnet14 · 06/01/2023 08:09

We are trying to cut our meat consumption (plus try to save some money) this January, but I still fancy a Friday lazy and a bit naughty, treat.I'll probably go for something greasy like egg and homemade thick chips with extra thick slices of white bread with extra real butter nom nom.

Sgtmajormummy · 06/01/2023 08:12

We had our Epiphany dinner last night of baked lentils mash and gristle sausage. 😫The one we didn’t have on NYE.
Now the celebrations are officially over all we want is light and fresh food to detox. So tonight will probably be fish and spinach.

Umbrio · 06/01/2023 09:29

I'm making dhal as I've been craving it since I made it on NYE. I think the difference was I bought all new spices so it was very flavoursome.

Also making beef madras, homemade onion bhajis and pilau rice.

Can't wait!

Lollybolly · 06/01/2023 09:57

As its Friday,we will be having fish.I will be cooking it though as takeaway prices are just going through the roof and I find it harder and harder to justify spending near on £25 for the 3 of us.😱
I'll probably just do some breaded cod from the freezer with chips and mushy peas, otherwise chips and salad and nice crusty bread.

Cranberrystreet · 06/01/2023 10:12

Moroccan fish kebabs

rockingbird · 06/01/2023 11:02
