If you won the lottery, what would you buy thats not wildly expensive, but is too much really to buy every day?

For me, I would buy the Jo Malone advent calendar - i have just managed to get the Molton Brown one for my main christmas present for £166 ( will be doing all the opening on the day, not the lead up )

But cannot justify £350 on a present for myself.

What would you buy?

Gor my sewing room to be 4x bigger, not sure how? But hey, I can dream.

snowbellsxox · 08/11/2022 13:59

Clothes and an implant to replace my tooth lost to hyperemesis

Chuckle94 · 08/11/2022 13:59

Buy the expensive advent calendar from the body shop. Also would do all my Christmas shopping in one day

A house of my own, not a mansion, just an ex council house. Dental implants, I'm on the waiting list to see if I can have NHS funded ones but could be waiting for 2-3 years with no guarantee that I will get them, I have lost most of my bottom teeth due to there being no dental treatment during the pandemic & have only one tooth to chew on in my bottom jaw.

Parmesam · 08/11/2022 14:04

Driving lessons and a hybrid estate.

Sahara123 · 08/11/2022 14:05

Definitely a cleaner . And someone to make sure I always have flowers around the house . And I’d really like clean crispy hotel style sheets every day but I couldn’t cope with the global warming guilt !

Ariela · 08/11/2022 14:14

I'd have a newspaper delivered. Currently restrict myself to 1 weekend paper and one midweek one.

LemonsAndCherries · 08/11/2022 14:17

Someone to come in 3 times a week to cook and clean. So a part time housekeeper I guess.

Mommabear20 · 08/11/2022 14:18

A cleaner, a dog trainer and built in wardrobe 🙌

Yellowdahlia12 · 08/11/2022 14:21

I would buy expensive perfume, knee high leather boots, holidays in posh hotels, clothes from designer outlets, an open university course.

readingismycardio · 08/11/2022 14:23

Hmmm...

1 to 1 pilates sessions in a beautiful studio
Weekly massage
More botox/injections/facials
Teeth whitening - just for vanity, my teeth are healthy and pretty white, but if I have all this money, why not Blush
Capsule wardrobe

CraigDavid · 08/11/2022 14:23

I'd drink champagne instead of Cava!

Floordilemma · 08/11/2022 14:26

A daily cleaner/housekeeper.

I'd also join a nice gym/spa and have a regular massage.

Nectarpeach · 08/11/2022 14:27

Watermelon, I absolutely love it but it's just too expensive to buy regularly

xogossipgirlxo · 08/11/2022 14:27

I would have my hair washed and blow dried at least once a week.
Regular SPA and massage appointments.
Nails done every two weeks.
Regular facials.
Botox for 11.
Self-cleaning litter tray 😂

user568720164728553401928574738 · 08/11/2022 14:30

I would get a chef

thenightsky · 08/11/2022 14:32

A hip replacement.
A couple of dental implants.
Bespoke shoes and boots made to measure for my stupid painful feet.

IheartJKRowling · 08/11/2022 14:38

I have a close family member that won the lottery they eat out several times a week and go to restaurants/pubs all over the Country just for a meal.

I would do something very similar.

AllTheLeaveAreBrown · 08/11/2022 14:38

I'd like a mothers help!

Someone to fuss over kids, cook a bit of tea, light housework.

I don't need a proper nanny, or a full time housekeeper, more a mature Au Pair. who can just muck in.

HeidiWhole · 08/11/2022 14:40

Cleaner
Healthy ready meals
Private health care as being utterly failed by the NHS

mamabear715 · 08/11/2022 14:40

A PROPER holiday! You know, one of those with SUNSHINE & blue sea! Never had one but would like to try. :-)

Clutterbugsmum · 08/11/2022 14:43

TheFlis12345 · 08/11/2022 09:47

Totally worth it! We used it at least once a week over the summer, saved a fortune on takeaways (you can make great pizza cheaper than you can buy a half decent supermarket one!) and they are so much nicer than any we can get around here.

I agree, we use ours at least once a week during the summer.

QuestioningMyExistence · 08/11/2022 14:46

Merlin passes for the family🎢
A car that doesn’t constantly breakdown
A bike with a toddler trailer

Livpool · 08/11/2022 14:48

My favourite perfumes:

Coco Chanel
Black Opium

Enough to bathe in probably

ChickinBell · 08/11/2022 14:49

Out of my reach :
Someone to teach me how to do my make up
New mattress and pillows
A fresh bouquet of flowers and door wreaths every month

In my wildest dreams:
Traveling 1st class -anywhere
A swimming pool complex with changing room and shower
An animal sanctuary where every animal could live out their life with love and comfort
