Nurses shot on maternity ward

Two nurses shot and killed on a maternity ward in Texas. Just doing their job. RIP ladies.
The murderer was a man beating up his partner who was in labour. 1st nurse went to help his labouring partner. 2nd nurse heard the shot and went to help.

Violence in hospitals may not just happen in America, but the potential harm is so much more when guns are available.

Harm happens with all violence. No matter what form it is.

don't be daft. Even if they stuck to the weapons that were available at the time the 2nd Amendment was written, they would - with a lot of practice and nobody taking advantage of the pause - be able to shoot a maximum of 6 rounds per minute. If they have an automatic weapon like an AR15? not so much. I'd take my chance grappling with someone reloading a musket, with the latter? I'd be taking cover for sure.

if they have a knife or other manual weapon? again the potential for many fatalities is greatly reduced, and a couple of people can overpower someone with a knife. Not to mention security guards are armed (maybe?)

So, Sure. Harm happens. If you think you need access to an AR15 you are the problem.

And today 3 more people and several injured, including teenage children, killed by a 19y male in school. A place where in most countries is somewhere you can go everyday without the worry that you might be shot.
