Team cake here. I'm also counting brownies as cake. Cake goes with everything.

Donughts. The old school sugary jam ones, none of your sickly Krispy Kreme rubbish.

APurpleSquirrel · 21/10/2022 18:47

Cake - there's just so much diversity.

ofwarren · 21/10/2022 18:51

Cookies

Shepq · 21/10/2022 18:54

Cookies number one for me, donuts can get in the bin.

emmathedilemma · 21/10/2022 18:55

Cake

grapehyacinthisactuallyblue · 21/10/2022 18:55

Seriously? It really depend on what I fancy at the time, it's all good.

mackthepony · 21/10/2022 18:56

Cake. Proper date and walnut style stuff

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/10/2022 18:57

Chocolate Brownies , they improve after a couple of days but IMO should not be eaten within 24 hours of cooking - otherwise it's just 'cake' not 'brownie'

Yes I'm glaring at you Nigella eating your brownies straight out of the oven and so raw squidgey they need a straw not a spoon

donughts and cookies go stale too quickly

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 21/10/2022 18:57

Obv like them all, but if it was one only forever it would be cake for me. Then cookies, then doughnuts. I only really like freshly cooked plain sugared doughnuts. Krispy kreme and the like don't float my boat. Also I favour something I can make for myself (being a cheapskate...)

Xmasbaby11 · 21/10/2022 18:59

Cake. Always cake.

Thesearmsofmine · 21/10/2022 18:59

100% cake, so much variety to be had

Teaandcrumpets95 · 21/10/2022 19:01

At present I'd say cookies.

Not marylands, buttery m & s ones or chunky filled New York style ones 🤪 with a cold glass of milk 🥛 of course

RonSwansonsChair · 21/10/2022 19:01

Cake! 🎂 🥮 🧁 🍰
Like the odd cookie, but donuts can get in the bin 🤮

ohforthelife · 21/10/2022 19:04

Cake. Preferably carrot cake. But I do love a custard donut.

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 21/10/2022 19:05

Cake, then doughnuts, then cookies. Tbh, I won’t refuse any of them.

Eupraxia · 21/10/2022 19:07

Obviously cookies.

snackcurator · 21/10/2022 19:09

Cake! Then donuts and then cookies!

Ilovedthe70s · 21/10/2022 19:12

Cake every time, rich dark fruit cake covered in marzipan. Icing not necessary.

Wouldn’t give you a thank you for doughnuts or cookies.
Well, obviously I would say thank you, that’s just manners but I wouldn’t mean it😉

EvelynSalt · 21/10/2022 19:13

Obviously donuts! But the kind you get at fairgrounds and Alton Towers, never Krispy Kreme

AnApparitionQuipped · 21/10/2022 19:14

Cake - then donuts as long as they are fresh ring donuts adorned with nothing but a dusting of sugar. Not keen on jam or iced donuts.

kimchifix · 21/10/2022 19:15

Cake. No contest. Followed by doughnuts. You can keep the cookies!

brightblueskies80 · 21/10/2022 19:16

All of them play an integral role in society.

Leakingroofagain · 21/10/2022 19:18

A good voodoo donut is pretty amazing.

achangeisafoot · 21/10/2022 19:19

DS says cake - specifically chocolate cake

I say donuts. Am a little horrified at all the cake answers
