DH and DC not come home. He was picking them up from after school club. Should have been back an hour ago. His phone is going straight to voicemail. I’m an anxious person anyway, but when would you panic?

OP posts:

Has there been any news op? I think we’re all worried for you here, let us know when You can!

InternetRandom · 14/10/2022 18:20

When was he last seen on WhatsApp, assuming he has that?

Any mates nearby he might have gone to see?

mondaytosunday · 14/10/2022 18:21

Do you have 'find my phone' ? You can ping it.
My daughter and I have the location thing on our iPhones - she goes to school in central London and I find it reassuring knowing that she made it to school on time! She uses it for me if I'm collecting her from somewhere so she can tell how far away I am.
Just think of the likely explanations- he's stopped for something to eat, there's a delay at the club, they've gone to a mates house - these are far more likely than he's been in an accident or kidnapped by aliens!

Hopefully OP's not responding because he's come home with a nice takeaway for the family.

Mrstiggywinkle44 · 14/10/2022 18:22

Hope all is ok xx

hopeishere · 14/10/2022 18:22

Can you take a drive about to see if you can spot them? Is there anywhere the kids particularly like to go?

DistrictCommissioner · 14/10/2022 18:22

hope all is okay

FleeUpFreeTime · 14/10/2022 18:23

Perhaps you’ve forgotton they’re out doing an activity. I wouldn’t worry because anything serious and the police would be round if it’s only an 8 min drive. Child with their dad not a monster.

when they come home, did you have lovely time, was it fun.

then get back to working on why your anxious

Muddywaters1 · 14/10/2022 18:23

If there is no news, now is the time to call the police

MolliciousIntent · 14/10/2022 18:23

Hope you're all OK op

Paintonthesmile · 14/10/2022 18:23

I very much hope they are home, but I agree with all the pps saying call the police if not.

id feel worried too. I hope they are home now.

bewarethetides · 14/10/2022 18:35

Hope all is well, OP.

butterfliedtwo · 14/10/2022 18:35

This would worry me too, but maybe he took them for a snack, swung by a takeaway place, or similar? Hope they're home now.

Amandasummers · 14/10/2022 18:37

I think I'm like you op, I would be worrying. The most likely scenario is they've gone to do something unplanned of course but you're not unreasonable to be anxious. Truly hope that all is well x

Livingbyariver · 14/10/2022 18:37

Hoping all is well!

Iamacatslave · 14/10/2022 18:38
