There was also a thread where a poster said she tried the Mumsnet haircut and ended up looking like Cadfael! It always makes chuckle when I think of it

Also the 'Penetration Man' thread where posters recounted the antics of previous boyfriends/sexual partners had me literally crying with laughter!

There was a series of threads by a young girl who was living with a drug addict DH who was smoking all the family funds and leaving their toddler without a winter coat. She went on to have another baby and then appeared back with a username suggesting she was addicted to codeine. Saddest threads I've ever read for the 2 kids with those parents inflicted on them

The one about the "shitting man", at the poster's place of work!

My favourite thread was about fences. The op was due to put up a new fence, and their neighbour reminded her that the ‘nice’ side should be on the neighbours side.

There followed several pages were people argued that this was the law, or good etiquette to do this, even though quite early on it was established that there was no law, and the op, as the fence erector, could decide which side of the fence she had (unless fence was next to a public road, for example).

I wondered why Penis Beaker from 2013 was trending, then I spotted this!

I don't think anyone's mentioned the Pom Bear thread yet, that was one of my all-time favourites, along with DH ate my fat ball and the OLD one, being stood up at the penguin park.

Angela Hernandez was exactly the plot of an episode of Miranda.

Either Miranda was the OP or she completely ripped the story off mumsnet (and is a mumsnetter herself!)

My asd/adhd teen knows I like mumsnet and told me to read an AIBU thread once that had loads of comments on it, then declared he created an account and made up the post 🤣 I don't think he's done it since. Sorry guys.
