What Is The Best Potato Thing?

Mashed, boiled, chips, fried, croquettes, baked, dolphinwars, crisps, or other?

I'd go for chips, followed by mashed with cheese, butter and garlic second.

Fondant are my favourite but so much butter and time consuming they’re a rare treat , after that I think Boulanger especially the crispy top slices and then my hubbies million calorie mash

Dolphinwars is now.stuck and I will never ever call them anything else again.

Don't forget pierogies, gnocchi, and tortilla (Spanish omelette)!

But my favourite use of potato is the homemade tattie scone, served fresh out of the pan dripping in butter.

Tartiflette. Like dauphinois but with wine and bacon lardons. Just divine!!!

Genuinely couldn’t choose. Potatoes are amazing in almost all guises.

Don’t think I’ve ever met a spud I didn’t like.

Roasties
Jackets with lashings of cheese. Crispy skin.
Àll crisps, except pringles
And I love potato skins. Sour cream/cheese/bacon
Chips from the chip shop.

I could never trust someone who would choose “boiled” …. Definite sign of a wrong ‘un.

Chips for sure - steak cut, chippy chips, reconstituted French fries, twisty fries, wedges, skin on, skin off…joy!

All of the above except gnocchi: vomit 🤮

Oh, and sweet potatoes are the devil's own

Potatoes are life!! is there are more versatile vegetable?

Roast dinner spuds, pan fried with garlic, champ, buttery mash, dolphin-nose, home made chips, hassle back, crispy skin jacket potatoes, hash browns, rosti…the possibilities are endless (and delicious)!! 🥔

When I said chips I meant proper chips. Chip shop, medium to dark brown, crispy on the outside but gives way to a smooth creamy centre. Supplied with a plethora of extra crunchy little chip shards. Not the floury tasteless pale monstrosities that blight the land at the moment.

Northern Irish Tayto cheese and onion crisps. If the gods ate food, they would eat these.

Dolphinwars should be a rare treat really.

I can understand 'boiled' if they're new potatoes just dug up out your own garden. They are little balls of tasty sweetness. Pink Fur Apple particularly.

I love boiled spuds! Reminds me though, when I was a child we had boiled potatoes with stew a lot - lovely big floury ones. Can’t remember the last time I had those - we always have mash nowadays.

If we're talking worst, how about potato faces. Or the "waffly versatile" potato waffles that sailor makes?

Probably very stupid but I haven’t got anymore crème fraiche for tomorrow’s champ, what can I use instead not dolphins. Je suis vegetarian

Home made latkes. Thin and crispy but carby and soooo delicious, so I have them very occasionally as I put weight on easily now.

I need this
