Emma is a Fell pony, HM rode Highlands too but Fell ponies aren't so rotund and easier for her to ride as she got older.

I really hoped they’d bring a corgi to say goodbye. My dad’s dog came to his funeral and it felt exactly right.

Her staff just look so sad and weary. They really knew her. Seeing them makes me feel tearful

Sorry if this has been covered earlier. Who is the really tall, relatively young man in morning dress, with dark hair and glasses, two in front of the hearse on the right (the left as we are looking at the screen)? Must be a member of the Queen's household, but what role?

I have held it together all day and them bringing the pony out to see her has wrecked me

Windsor looks beautiful. The pony is adorable. How proud must the families of all those servicemen and servicewomen feel today.

My Dh has to go to work (water emergency) and will drive past/as near to as he can get to, with road closures - to the Golden Mile. Bet that'll be hard.

How tired must the band be too ! Using all their energy to not only blow the trumpets and brass instruments but the walking too.

In amongst all the pageantry it's the personal touches, like her favourite horse being brought out to watch, that remind you that she was a person as well as a head of state. 🥹

No, tall Paul has white hair and no glasses (have been Googling frantically, as DH and I are now fixated!). I think @PugInTheHouse must be right - thanks.

This feels so final now. It is incredibly moving.
