WildfellAnne · 19/09/2022 17:02

She looks fine. She doesn’t need a brooch.

Ive missed everything that people keep mentioning, Edward crying, Beatrice' mascara running, the spider, the coffin lowering

I missed this too

Sunbird24 · 19/09/2022 17:02

What a day. The Queen was many things to many people, and will be much missed.

LaurieFairyCake · 19/09/2022 17:03

Watching the coffin go down as her, just Elizabeth without her crown/orb/sceptre had us all crying Sad

Moving service

CaveMum · 19/09/2022 17:03

Oh dear, BBC anchor is losing it.

RoachTheHorse · 19/09/2022 17:03

I need a drink. I've found this so emotional.

Confused. Coffin lowered just now into vault. But it will be buried later. How? Is there a further hole under the vault?

The vault is like a storage room. The Queen and Philip will be brought up and interred in the King George IV Memorial chapel, which is at the side of the main building. Basically there’s a large plaque on the floor which is taken up and the coffins are lowered in, then it’s re-sealed. The Queens parents and the ashes of Princess Margaret are interred there.

Harry just thanked the doorman. He also sighed a massive sigh in the car.

They must all be exhausted Sad

Just hope Harry can make his peace with his Father and Brother and not go ahead with his book that is clearly just a money maker.
It seemed, after ''That''' Interview it was a bit of a cheek to then write a book.
Screwing maximum money out of family connections is a little unseemly now.

Waynettaaa · 19/09/2022 17:04

George and Charlotte, incredible composure. They are a real credit to their parents. I'm in my 50's and found the ceremony very emotional.

Poor King Charles looked devastated 💔

RedToothBrush · 19/09/2022 17:04

oakleaffy · 19/09/2022 17:05

Everyone did so well...The Ratings, the Pallbearers, the wonderful Bands and Pipers.. Divine.

CatsandFish · 19/09/2022 17:05

TroysMammy · 19/09/2022 17:01

I really felt for King Charles when they want God Save The King. How he didn't burst into tears I'd never know.

Am I going deaf? Although I probably am being mid to late 40s. But I listened so very closely because I wondered if they would sing God Save The Queen to honour the Queenn one last time or God Save The King. I very clearly heard Queen. Not King.
Edit just asked husband and my mum. They all said it was Queen.

I hope so too. Meghan looked genuinely moved.

User14379 · 19/09/2022 17:06
