Again, thread 2 has filled up fast.

This is a beautiful motet. Ethereal.

I find the vault thing so odd. Kind of temporary and not fitting. One of my family members is in a vault in a cathedral. It feels like they've been put in a cupboard, I much prefer burial or even better cremation and scattering.

They definitely did show it start to lower, maybe not all the way down though. I remember thinking how difficult it must have been for the Queen to see him go.

@Jellykat Hopefully they will be pets for August and Sienna, a nice memory of Great Granny.

I really truly hope that at the private ceremony this evening they can grieve and cry and support one another, hold one another. The composite and stoicism they have had to show today has floored me, they are unwaveringly committed to carrying out their duties and under such a spotlight too.

The crown being removed. Almost like she’s being de - monarchised.

I sort of want to see her coffin join Prince Phillip’s… I hope we get to see it enter the vault.

Highly recommend watching Clive Myrie’s documentary about the Crown Jewels. They’ve put it back up on iPlayer, it’s very good.
