The singing is spine tingling. This seems much more moving and personal than Westminster this morning.

The coffin looks so colourful in here amongst all the black, a bit like the Queen.

State and semi state rooms are well worth it, esp Semi State which were redecorated after the fire.

@MrsDanversGlidesAgain that's so sad. I genuinely think animals pine, my friend had 2 cats and the 1 one left behind when the other died just sat staring out of the window looking for the other one until she eventually passed away.

Asking in a non-critical way but what is the protocol for walking behind the coffin (sorry if it's been asked already)?

Princess Anne is in the group but not Zara, Eugenie or Beatrice. Peter is also, so I guess it's not just Charles' children?

oh I think I just saw the children, so I guess they are. I wonder about the other great grandchildren, the older ones at least

This feels so much more intimate than the splendour of Westminster Abbey.

imagine having to go through your mother's funeral twice ... I've been to a few where there has been a big church funeral service then the family peel off to the crematorium, but that last bit is short and private - this is so public.

This is so emotional. Cannot imagine what the family and loved ones must be feeling. A magnificent send off for HMQ, every person involved should feel so proud

Ah the children are here, that must have been a late decision. Perhaps because they did so well earlier today.

Are they televising the whole thing? I thought they would switch the cameras off and leave the family alone for this service.

They're having another service in private at 7.30 too

This service is beautiful, but Charles looks drained.
