Driving yesterday. Looked out the window. And there was a car transporter. Ten little cars. All yellow.

Except I was on my own. So it doesn’t count. But I feel like I have won forever now. Why was no one there!!!!!

this is a convoy through Bibury in Gloucestershire. One of the owners of a house in the famous row of houses by the river bought a yellow car and tourists kept vandalising it because it messed up their photos so the town organised this. It was awesome. We were randomly there at the time and they just kept on coming.

I remember years ago when DS2 was a toddler, he had a massive tantrum on leaving the supermarket, he was shrieking and screaming and breaking his heart sobbing. Still managed to break off to do a high-pitched and wobbly-voiced 'ye-ye-yelloooooow caaaaar...' from the back seat as we drove past our local Mini garage, before resuming his tantrum. Me and DS1 were in stitches.

Blimey, I have a yellow car, I didn't know all this was going on when I drive it. Years ago we also had a yellow beetle

@User777777 i mean the power u have is amazing. Is it a proper yellow. We have huge rows about wether some cars are a proper yellow. Maybe consider a sign on ur car that says yes this qualifies as yellow car.

Ha! Before we decided to discount taxis I got 25 points from a car park in NY. I was very happy that day.

We check the DVLA website when the colour is questionable.

Also have big arguments here as to what is the acceptable yellow colour! DH says some 'yellow' cars are too orangey to be classed as yellow! It then gets voted on by all people in the car. If it turns into a false call - I get a point deducted.
Our youngest hates the game and says - I'm not playing. Everyone else "we're always playing"!

@savemeagin ws get a point taken off as well. We do the yellow of a number plate. If it’s darker than that we don’t let it count. U have to draw the line somewhere. And I was fed up with the arguments. Sons girlfriend plays as well.

Love an argument about if it's really yellow, DH is always wrong. I didn't know you could check on DVLA website - that's a good idea if it agrees with me 🤣

@crazyBadger my husband is now asking what the rules of this are. Do u have to all the reds in one go. Or is it the total rules of snooker. FYI. He is very happy he has heard about this. Me not so much.

It's a hot mustard Ford Fiesta so quite yellow but not called yellow, so is that acceptable, maybe people are arguing when I drive past whether it's yellow enough, the Beetle we had was definitely yellow and was spray painted by DH, that unfortunately is long since dead now as that was in the 80s

We play 'cheese on wheels' which has the same rules but you get double points for an orange car (red leicester obvs).

When he was about 5 DS declared that he wanted to go and live with another family because 'they don't play yellow car all the time' our response as loving parents was 'but you are always playing yellow car, if you pass yellow cars without saying anything you are just playing badly'.
At the ripe old of 11 he has listen to CP several times over and now loves yellow car. I was a parent helper on their last school trip and was delighted that as we passed a yellow car the entire coach load of them shouted 'yellow car'.

@User777777 we have arguments about mustard yellow. So yes. U are causing arguments just by driving to the shops. Tesco is a good one as u can spot loads.

We are driving at the moment. I’m on one and husband is on two. I have told him that’s not fair as I’m not concentrating as I’m a thread about yellow car. 😂
