Anyone struggling with InPost lockers?

I've just discovered Vinted and am selling anything not nailed down. I don't have a printer so have just started using the InPost service where you drop the parcel in lockers and they attach the label to it.

First lot of parcels - fine. Since then (last week) every single InPost location has no available lockers. I've driven to eight different ones in the past few days.

Anyone else having issues?

Yes and the buyers I’ve messaged who are also selling are having issues too. I wonder if it is due to everyone suddenly
selling on Vinted!

It’s a nightmare- I’ve started putting in the description that I will cancel any order that uses that postage method. It’s the stupidest system I’ve ever encountered, fully automated except they can’t tell you remotely if they have capacity so you end up driving around on constant wild goose chases.

You can change your settings to only accepting certain postal services

@Highlandbrow - that's what I thought. I don't mind the service as it's the only one I can use without having a printer but if it's going to be this much of a faff then I'll change my postage options!

The app does tell you which lockers have capacity though - or is this unreliable? Currently a shop nearby says it has capacity so I was going to drive there in the morning!

Same here. Tried 3 times this week at our nearest one - we’re rural so the other are miles away.

Yep, same here been to 4 lockers every day for a week and always full, it’s a nightmare. I’ve turned InPost off as an option now as it’s so awful.

The app wouldn't even recognise my postcode,so I couldn't find out where the nearest locker was. I tried several known postcodes near me and it didn't recognise any of them. I've only just been able to find out where the nearest locker is.

Yes I’ve just had exactly the same thing!! Have tried 5 times at 2 different lockers over the last couple of days.
The buyer has agreed to cancel and rebuy with a different postage option and I’ve removed inpost as an option from my listings. It’s probably cost me more in time and petrol than I’ve earned from the sale.
There is no way it’s a viable option if you can’t be sure you’ll actually even be able to post your item when you get there.

I've bought 2 items and both have said the lockers were full. So then cancelled and relisted so I could repurchase with Evri delivery.

I’ve not had any issues with this. Have two different ones nearby and been really pleased with how easy it is to use. I’ve sold 5 different items on Vinted today.

So awful. There are two in our (smallish) city and at times they're both full. DH ends up going to a quieter one in a different city on his commute for me.
I had to post and collect the other day, so made sure to collect first so there'd be a locker to post into! Although I've noticed that when I do post things in there, it's often 2 or 3 days before it's even collected. As annoying as evri can be, they pick up far more often.

I w just checked now and our local ones are actually all full now but haven’t had a problem before. Wonder if there’s an issue with them.

Having the same problems here (South Coast). I went to three different lockers today before I found one I could use. Nightmare and a waste of fuel too!

Had no problem delivering to a locker but says the parcel has been at the sorting office for 3 days now which is concerning me! Compared to Evri it seems inefficient!

How are people finding out the locker is full from the app please? This would be a good function for us, but I can't figure out how to do it on the app.

My messages say no need to print a label at home, yet at the locker there's no printing option. I don't put a blank parcel with no label in the locker surely? How on Earth does it work?

Thanks! It just seems such a strange thing to do. I thought I must be doing something wrong so came home with my parcel.

I'm returning shein order and our locker is also full... Are the drivers on strike or something?
