Any recommendations?

Om my list already:

Beyond that I need some suggestions!

TIA.

I forgot about Belgian Curls. My biscuit of choice from M&S!

Hellosunshine1993 · 07/09/2022 15:49

Mexican layered dip

Blondeissimo · 07/09/2022 15:50

Bang bang prawn salad
Chocolate covered peanuts
Dried apple slices - my go to snack

Cervinia · 07/09/2022 15:50

Cheese scones from the bakery, not in packets on the shelf, the bakery ones are awesome and I can eat them without butter, if you add butter they are even better.

amatsip · 07/09/2022 15:51

Omg the four cheese ravioli and crust bread is amazing! Better than many restaurants!
Always are special occasion meal 🤣🤣🤣

The pitta chips, very moreish.

Individual trifles

Cervinia · 07/09/2022 15:52

Lemon iced buns, I eat both in the packet at once.

MummyJ12 · 07/09/2022 15:58

The bang bang dip. I have to limit myself to buying it once a week because I can’t stop eating it, I don’t even need anything to dip in it, more than happy to eat it with a spoon!! I need help!! 😂

The prawn gyozas with ponzu dip are really good too.

academicyeah · 07/09/2022 16:13

Burger slaw 😋

Skodacool · 07/09/2022 16:13

Look out for yellow stickers on stuff that can be frozen. Some good bargains.

Beat me to it 😂

Also check if the manager is there

If she goes in after 4 he will probably have gone home.
Also....which chips go well with steak ? 😋

columbo83 · 07/09/2022 16:22

Steak, cheese and chip pie £5.50 but worth it!

OldTinHat · 07/09/2022 16:23

The giant jalapeño corn. Its in a green bag where the nuts and snacks are. And the bakewell tart cake next to the bakery section. Oh and the dark chocolate rice cakes.

You can thank me later...😆

AdoraBell · 07/09/2022 16:24

Custard choux buns

SlickShady · 07/09/2022 16:24

Their green grapes are so crunchy and juicy.

Bearsan · 07/09/2022 16:30

DH loves the chicken kievs, redcurrant puffs, cheddar and caramelised onion rolls and those Christmas crisps/snacks mix.

LadyKenya · 07/09/2022 16:30

Their frozen chunky haddock/ cod, battered or breaded fish is nice.

Bearsan · 07/09/2022 16:30

Ooh and dirty fries

Purpleavocado · 07/09/2022 16:34

The truffle crisps and marzipan balls, the pistachio cookies, the almond and butter thins. The steak pie on the £12 meal deal is lush. The £6 stir fry deal, the takeaway boxes. Just not the pizza deal, I really don't like their pizza.

Bearsan · 07/09/2022 16:38

And the fruit loaf, croissants, butter biscuits, Cornish cruncher, lemon and lime yoghurts.

Yalz · 07/09/2022 16:38

I second @KassandraOfSparta's suggestion of looking at the red shelf labels, particularly today. My local store had lots of things at 1/4 or 1/2 the original prices.

They seem to do this at certain times of year: the cheaper prices first appear on Monday evenings or Tuesday mornings. I think now they are making space on their shelves for Christmas lines.

I also recommend the plant kitchen bangers and burgers. For some reason (and it's the same for M&S on the Ocado website) what looks like exactly the same items are cheaper if you buy them frozen rather than fresh. It's probably to do with less wastage.

BarbaraofSeville · 07/09/2022 16:42

Ours have a space where they were selling the lemon and lime jaffa cakes for 30 p a pack but sadly they were sold out before I got there, but there might be some left somewhere.

Another mention for the £12 Gastro pub meal deal. I like the paella and pannacotta, and then just tend to get some chips or a posh garlic bread.

Just heading off to pick up DS. Shall report back.

My children love the mini Eton mess puddings and the Belgian chocolate milkshake, also they loved the frozen salmon fish cakes when they were little.

Whiskeypowers · 07/09/2022 16:46

The “goes with anything” jar of pasta sauce is very good
sny of their antipasti or little nibble packs of things
their canned tuna steak four packs: the tuna is excellent quality
their organic yalumba Viognier is delicious
ginger and turmeric fresh stir fry sauce
