Songs that give you shivers

In a reflective/contemplative mood and would like some music to match...

Currently listening to The Night We Met by Lord Huron on repeat and it is suitably giving me the feels.

Appreciate that some songs will have individual emotional associations, but what are your favourite haunting songs that transcend that and give you shivers regardless?

How Long Will I Love you has me in pieces! An Irish guy songs it as well I think.
Also that song about his wife dying of cancer breaks my heart. If anyone can remember it please remind me.

The Waterboys do a great version of How long Will I Love You.

Space by Biffy Clyro. Particularly the orchestral version. Beautiful and haunting in equal measures.

Japan - Ghosts
Too many Pink Floyd tracks to list!

Wish you were here was one that my boyfriend refused to listen to after we split up as he had introduced me to Pink Floyd. It's such a beautiful melody but the lyrics are genius. I can't listen to that song anymore.

Who knows where the time goes - Fairport Covention. I defy anyone over the ago of about 40 not to get goosebumps.

I've got this one earmarked for my funeral. If they don't cry for me, they'll cry for the song. Grin

Stay by Rihanna. It reminds me of when my Uncle was in a coma and I was so desperate for him to wake up because I never said thank you for buying me salt to sprinkle over my metal steps in the frost. Love you Jim x

The story by brandi carlile. I've just discovered her and I'm obsessed. I think that sometimes you discover an artist just when you need what they're offering and that's certainly the case for me with BC. Also right on time by the same artist.

Alexa misheard me when i was listening to spotify and offered me a song called In Dreams by someone called Jai-Jagdeesh recently and it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Blackbird by Alter Bridge gives me shivers. Such a powerful song.

Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush. Probably an obvious one but I love it and always find it haunting.

There is something about the chord changes in that song which have a visceral effect on me. It also invokes a nostalgia feeling as I used to sing it aged 5 in my nana's front room!
