I don’t know why I find them so irrationally irritating.

Or writing "buy a fucking digital test" on "line eyes needed, is this a positive?" posts.

It's sad they get their hopes up because everyone wades in to tell them they see the nonexistent line.

I'm making up that many bat shit mental stories about neighbour disputes that the lazy journalists will have a field day!!

To rail against the dull names everyone seems to pick the same few “What do people think of the name Eve/Lily/Olivia/Isabel?”. Bloody boring done to death try again.

Sparklers there was a prog on R4 recently about dialect/accents and they were looking at Portsmouth and 'chinny/chinny reckon' was mentioned. I sniggered a little.

I would name names on my threads for Noah Donohoe.
I would also openly call out for what they are racist bigots lacking in compassion posting on my threads and/or reporting my threads.

I have been very restrained. I have had to be. But it is fecking hard at times.

I'm going to resurrect a shitload of threads from 2005 and offer my advice...

Love this question - I was thinking about this the other day! I think I'd do a bit of light trolling. I would create a few threads based on the plots from movies. I'd probably start with more niche films where the plot would be quite believable and work my way up to the more popular less believable films. You know the odd 'AIBU for not letting my partner share the wooden plank' or 'My icy sister has cut me out of her life since we were children, WWYD?'. The fun part would be to see if I could write them in a way that they were believable and would get serious responses.

I'd probably reply to threads in the same way too.

I’d reply with loads of eye roll emojis under some of the rather self important posters’ pronouncements

I’d send multiple pizzas round to the houses of some of the blatant male trolls who haunt certain threads

I’d require the journalists to pay us for quotes instead of just lifting them
