I think I've got body dysmorphia. Wedding in 35 days and I feel AWFUL in my dress

As the title says, really.
I think I've finally come to terms with the fact I've got body dysmorphia.

I just went to my dress fitting today, with my seamstress. I loved the dress I've bought when I last tried it on! But today all I could see was fat and faults. My arms looked huge, my back was bulging out.. I had a weird area around my stomach where it was bulging out the dress.

No matter how many people tell me it looks lovely, I just can't see it let alone FEEL it.

I'm so not looking forward to my wedding, because I'm not looking forward to how I will look and how I'll feel.

I had weight loss surgery February this year, and am 6 stone down so far. For some reason I feel like I was so much happier before? Although I wasn't, and I was unhealthy.. I'm struggling to come to terms with how I look now.

I just can't stop crying 😢

Exactly this. Your skin is just gorgeous and your hair looks fab too. Lovely colour. Your shape is really good. All shapely and in proportion.

you look amazing, it’s an awful photography shot, it makes you look bigger than you are especially the picture from the back, it’s a bad angle. You’ll love your wedding day when you have your makeup and hair done with good underwear. If I looked like you I’d be really happy!

As a fat lass who is wary of the pitfalls of what being larger can do to an outfit in my own eyes, I can hand on heart say you look bloody amazing, your stomach isn't bulgi g and your arms don't look lumpy etc.

Honestly, you look gorgeous and you are wearing that dress perfectly.

35 days is time enough to lose another few pounds if you think it will make you feel better but 6 stone since feb is awesome!

That is an incredible flattering dress and pretty much the perfect style for your body shape. Cinches in the waist, and then flares out to hide any bumps.

Its a very smooth fit and material which is very pretty.
