What are your barely related celebrity connections? Not the "I'm Bruce Springsteen's Sister " type but the much more loosely connected "Friend of my Uncle's milkman's brother" kind?

I’ve met a few vaguely famous people and I have friends that have met some vaguely famous people too.

Knew someone who gave evidence in the Mick Jagger v Jerry Hall divorce ( he said they were definitely married! )

Bob Hoskins's mum was my nursery school teacher! (or TA)

I was once in a lift with the author Thomas Keneally, who wrote Schindler's List.
I didn't make eye contact as when I did English Lit A Level (a million years ago) my class started studying it but voted to change to The Colour Purple as none of us linked the book!

When I was younger my friend showed me a photo of the skinned stiletto heels of Mary Quant. The photo was taken at a cousin's wedding. Mary had designed the wedding gown.

A couple from me: I processed Ken Dodd's tax return back in the 80's; also my friend's brother 'claimed' to know David Bowie at around the same time - despite a great deal of pleading on my part this was never actually corroborated 😂

My grandad’s brother emigrated in his twenties and became a well-known figure in the arts.
One of my distant cousins is married to a former footballer who had plenty of publicity for all the wrong reasons.

It's still weird when he's getting picked up and we smile and wave at 'character name from soap'

DH occasionally gets a small royalties payment from a song he once wrote that was covered by a minor 80's singer. When I say small royalties, I mean about £3 every couple of years or so!

One of my teachers in high school was married to one of Martin Sheen's siblings (they were divorced by the time I took her class). During the late '80's, Emilio was visiting her so she brought him to school for the day. He was very nice.

My friend's husband is a first cousin of Stanley Tucci.

Salma Hayek is a cousin of my daughter's school friend.

my dad’s doctor’s needs hew was the goalie who kept England out of the 1970 World Cup. Scottish football fans always love that one!

I have a painting by the man who played the mandolin on the Rod Stewart song 'Maggie May'.

I’ve taught an England player and know their sibling, also an England player as he was obviously at the same school. Both lovely children.

The parents of a ‘superhero’ go to my mum’s church.

Tom Hardy’s god child went to my old school. He came to watch an assembly one year. I totally missed him but lots of colleagues got pictures with him and he was apparently a nice bloke.

A pupil from my first class is dating an old Coronation Street star.

Just thought of another one. Nasty Nick of Eastenders fame goes to the same parkrun as me. He’s really very genuine and volunteers often too.

Mine aren’t too famous but one I played football with in secondary school who is now a professional footballer in a famous team, I also dated a friend of kojo funds (British rapper)

My friend's brother is a Hollywood actor (although he's not been in anything big for a while).

Another friend's brother is a moderately well known singer and has written some very well known songs for other artists.

My Nan lived across the road from one of the Kaiser Chiefs when he was a kid.

Not a celebrity as such but he has very high end celebrity connections, I'm on 'nodding hello' terms with a very well respected photographer, we've got a few friends in common.
