What are your barely related celebrity connections? Not the "I'm Bruce Springsteen's Sister " type but the much more loosely connected "Friend of my Uncle's milkman's brother" kind?

My neighbour once stayed in a holiday cottage in France the week after Fi Glover. Didn't meet her, just read her comments in the visitors' book.

Another one: Mark Lester (Oliver!) pinched mine & my friend's bums when we were all kids. He was the freind of a friend.

I am friends with the sister of a well known newsreader and I once went to a wedding and was seated next to a very famous singer from the 60s

I have met two pretty famous actors through their wives - both live locally to me.
Both actors came to prominence in the 2000s - one I knew before he was famous. One after. They’re both v unassuming.

Related via an illegitimate child to Ringo Starr (i.e his family member and my family member had an affair and had a kid). Also his grandparents lived next door to my Dad when he was a kid. He met all the Beatles when they came for a visit! They hung out together in the garden.

When I was a teenager about a hundred years ago, I had a Saturday job in a shop and a couple of times I was told I’d just served the actor from Van der Valk…….whom I had never heard of, hence why I didn’t recognise him.
