Ii don't know what to do. I'm in absolute agony but have no one to look after dc (she needs to sleep as had a late night and lack of sleep makes her dizzy.

I just don't know where this has come from.

Can you tweet this thread to the hospital trust?

This is horrific OP. I wish I could get involved and fight for you.

I know it’s hard and you must have zero energy but take down the names of all the nurses and doctors who have treated you like this. Take photos on your phone if you can. Then wrote your complaint and escalate. This is so shocking.

I hope you get the treatment you need and get to go home soon.

I'd suggest emailing your hospitals PALs, you'll find them on the hospital website

I had an issue with DDs care some years back & awful doctor was insisting severe stomach pains were psychological & refused to pass her on to a gastro doctor when he'd ruled out gynaecological causes😒. He was also trying to give DD medicine that contained stuff that we knew that she was intolerant to & was in her medical notes & more.

I rang PALs from DDs beds & they sorted things out really quickly & DD soon had the correct very physical diagnosis & treatment & was transferred to a gastric ward for a couple of weeks.

PALs can help you. If you're not well enough to email, ask for help

Have you recently been in a hot tub or jacuzzi? If so it's possibly pseudomonas hot foot syndrome. It sounds like a made up illness but it is real! My daughter had it earlier this year.

Hi sorry disappeared again.

So I asked them to please cannulate me to give me some more IV antibiotics, fluids, anti emetics. They refused. So I asked if they're gonna do anuthing else. They said no. So that was that and I went home.

My foot started to feel better but it's now increasing in pain. It has a hard lump (abscess?) on it. My ankle is really painful.

My index finger on mg right hand keeps vibrating. I can't use it. I press on my wrist or arm and it stings all the way to the finger. Not sure what that is about.

I'm still vomiting and not eating that much. Tried to do something for dd's birthday today but ended up in a wheelchair. I feel quite ill.

I'm covered in bruises from the cannulation.

I have been bleeding vaginally for some months but suddenly, I started bleeding like crazy whilst in hospital. The doctor finally said she will stop the blood thinning injections to halt that. Returned home and was filling a large moon cup every 20 minutes + an incontinence pull up (no wonder I feel weak.)

So I'm going to call my GP tomorrow smd try to get a face to face. I guess if the foot and finger continues I'll have to go back to A&E (not that hospital).

So all in all, I had 2-3 doses of antibiotics so I'm not even convinced that it's properly cleared up.

What a huge mess.

Have tried calling pals repeatedly with no response so I will email them. I think I'll just keep it short and sweet and then write a detailed complaint.

This was how my DD's foot looked. It is caused by bacteria in a hot tub getting into the body usually through a cut or abrasion on the sole of the foot.
