What can you hear, right now?

We're in the garden with nice cold drinks.

We can hear the traffic and occasional sirens - we're on a main road and near all the emergency services.

Ds2 is wittering away, in the house.

Dishwasher draining behind me.

The local rook family is being very vocal.

And on either side, there are chattering, scratching and squeaky sounds. A bit like demadogs 😱

I’m in the living room. I can hear road noise from the front and NDN playing music and talking in their back garden. And DP rummaging in the fridge for a late-night carrot.

My dog snoring her head off. It was too hot for walks today so I took her down to the beach at 9.30pm and she had a lovely long swim, she is now happily snoring her head off stretched out under my bed.
Windows are wide open and I can hear distant traffic.

The TV is on -Ozark and DH is tidying up in the kitchen. There's an occasional car on the road but generally quiet.

@DecimatedDreams our telly landed on naked attraction, a while back, and Ds1 was ready to throw the TV out of the window. Way out of his comfort zone!

Very very quiet whisper of the sea...so calm out there tonight.

I’m on my balcony with a glass of red- it’s surprisingly quiet. Dishwasher on inside, occasional train, plus background hum of wildlife.

My clock ticking... and that's it. Lovely!

Traffic - cars and motorbikes. One passing perhaps every 5-10 seconds.
