Most underrated Disney films?

Hi

We’re going to Disney World soon (my 6th time, but first for DC), so we’re watching Disney films a lot to get in the mindset! I have two boys who aren’t massively into the princess films, although they have watched them. I have found they love Hercules and Tarzan - ones you never hear people talk about. I also can’t remember any rides or attractions or merchandise for them at Disney. I love them too - really feel-good and great music. The 90s Disney films were fab.

Any other underrated Disney films I should watch with them?

Treasure planet is a great film!

IAcceptCookies · 17/07/2022 19:39

For underrated, try Hunchback of Notre Dame, thats my favourite!

I also love Peter Pan, Robin hood, 101 Dalmatians, Dumbo, Jungle Book, Luca and Coco.

PleaseYourselfandEatTheCrusts · 17/07/2022 19:44

Ron's Gone Wrong

Iknownothing · 17/07/2022 19:47

Meet the Robinsons! Such a good film that hardly anyone has seen. Time travel! Dinosaurs! All the Disney feels and gentle humour and not a princess in sight.

But if you’re doing the parks I agree stick with the classics - Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast etc for magic kingdom
Lion King and Nemo for animal kingdom .
Ratatouille, frozen and guardians of the galaxy for Epcot.
Star Wars and toy story for Hollywood studios.

mnahmnah · 17/07/2022 20:00

@LissySJ That sounds right up my street! Haven’t seen it. On the list.

I should say that we have seen all the recent ones at least once. Maybe several times. Encanto, I’m looking at you…

I love the Black Cauldron but it is petrifying for small children. I’ve no idea how it’s a PG when it has zombies risen from the dead by an evil undead king!

MrsMoggy · 17/07/2022 20:00

The Aristocats!

mnahmnah · 17/07/2022 20:01
