I'm beyond excited... I've been planning and waiting for him to come back to London... I've never seen him before..
Last time he played London was when my late DP was terminally ill so I couldn't go... My friends husband is taking me. Its been an in joke for years that as soon as Bruce's dates are announced then I'm borrowing him for the evening!!
I really enjoyed him at Glastonbury when I saw it the next day.. He is so bloody gorgeous.. One of those men who improves with age. 💙 💙 💙

I'm going on Thursday. I'm so excited as I've never seen him live. Weather doesn't look great so am glad we are sitting not standing as we will be under cover!

I'm slightly dreading the journey home as I won't get to bed until about 1.30 and I have to be at work at 8 on Friday. But it will be worth it!

@PinkSparklyPussyCat be prepared for the car parks to be closed at the end of the night. We waited for an hour in the car park after Taylor Swift recently before they'd let us out! It's not the first time it's happened either!

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 22/07/2024 20:49

Thanks @June2008. We'll probably leave just before the end so hopefully we'll be ok. I don't like 'I'll See You In My Dreams' as it makes me cry so I'm happy to miss it!

Who is supporting and is it worth watching them?

June2008 · 25/07/2024 11:54

No support, as usual. Starting at 7.15 I think with a curfew of 10.30.
He's usually pretty prompt at starting on time so don't leave it until the last minute to get there!

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 25/07/2024 13:34

I hope everyone going tonight has a great time!

claracluck1978 · 25/07/2024 15:04

I'm currently at Wembley in the Fan park - amazing atmosphere already!

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 25/07/2024 23:04

I’ve just seen tonight’s setlist - wow!

We had a brilliant time thanks!

claracluck1978 · 26/07/2024 11:19

It was amazing! And we're going again on Saturday with the kids. We were standing in the front last night and will get a different experience tomorrow with seated tickets but I bloody love him live!

Birchtrees · 26/07/2024 11:30

I wonder what most people have paid for tickets? When I tried a couple of years ago they were hundreds each .

Awhispersway · 26/07/2024 12:09

I think mine was £155 I have no idea what the view will be like. I’m at the end of the row which is what I need. I don’t know what to wear it looks like the weather will be good.

Our tickets were £125 each but we were up in the Gods. Great atmosphere though

EmmaGrundyForPM · 26/07/2024 12:39

@Awhispersway the seats are all.undercover. It's only the pitch that is exposed to the elements. Almost everyone last night was in jeans and t shirts. There were a couple of women in long floaty summer dresses but they were a real trip hazard on the stairs!

Awhispersway · 26/07/2024 13:04

I want to buy a tshirt when I get there and put it on

claracluck1978 · 26/07/2024 15:27

I bought a t-shirt when I got there (£40 each) and changed in to it. They say only small bags to be taken in but I bought a Bruce tote bag as well from the merch stall and had that stuffed with my previous top a a jacket and water bottle and that was fine to go in.

Our tickets last night were a couple of hundred each I think for standing but we've paid a bit less per ticket for Saturday for the seated view. I really hope there is a fab atmosphere in the seats as the standing last night was phenomenal even though it was raining!

Awhispersway · 27/07/2024 18:51

Filling up nicely

Elderflower14 · 27/07/2024 19:54

Enjoy everyone. Not seen him this time.. Mum paid for me last time for birthday and Christmas...

Oh it was fantastic. I wasnt expect tears to come vut that last song I had to run to the toilets carrying my bag of chemo and when I got there everyone was blubbing. I went back in and there wasnt a dry house.

i wont hear a bad word say against him but I need to know was Patti an affair? They were very close during that song you could feel the electricity. I like how normal she lookehd. Bruce However has had a few tweaks and i still wouldnt say no😃😃

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 28/07/2024 09:20

What a night! We got stuck in traffic and were 45 minutes late so missed the first 8 songs but the rest more than made up for it. We left just as he started ‘I’ll See You in My Dreams’ as it makes me cry but a lot of other people left then as well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed he adds a few extra dates when he does the rescheduled gigs in Europe next year!

Olinguito · 28/07/2024 12:47

What an experience! Bruce and the band put on an incredible show - 3 hours of fantastic music and a wonderful joyous feel to the whole concert. Also lucky to have a warm summer evening to enjoy it. So glad I went!

Awhispersway · 28/07/2024 14:35

I could never have stood up so glad I had seats. I have never seen people walking in and out of a gig before and it was interesting to see. I suppose its expected when its so long. I hate the sound at Wembley though its always not great.

Well hopefully Ill get tickets for Glasto next year as I have a feeling he will be there and an hour and a half of hits will be perfect.

claracluck1978 · 28/07/2024 17:46

Last night was the best show I have seen Bruce put on. The sound, for me, wasn't as good as Thurs as I was seated last night rather than standing and the Wembley acoustics aren't great.

BUT we had a changed set list and OMG did it look like he was enjoying himself up there! 74 and he's still the best performer I have ever seen. I'm on such a come-down today!

Awhispersway · 28/07/2024 18:28

Me too. Everyone at our hotel had seen him at least seven times and said that was the best. Did he miss anything out?

uhtredbebbanburg · 29/07/2024 19:40

I went Thursday in the pit. I could’t ask for more Reason to Believe, Atlantic City, Youngstown in a row (aka The Election Pack) plus Racing! Sorry to miss Patti though.
