Bruce Springsteen next July Hyde Park.... EEEEEK!!!

I'm beyond excited... I've been planning and waiting for him to come back to London... I've never seen him before..
Last time he played London was when my late DP was terminally ill so I couldn't go... My friends husband is taking me. Its been an in joke for years that as soon as Bruce's dates are announced then I'm borrowing him for the evening!!
I really enjoyed him at Glastonbury when I saw it the next day.. He is so bloody gorgeous.. One of those men who improves with age. 💙 💙 💙

Soooooo excited for you all - I had alerts set up on Twickets and could have picked them up several times over for Saturday (plan was to go to Billy Joel tomorrow and Bruce on Saturday) but mum passed away earlier this year and Saturday is her birthday so family things to do instead..........

I really hope this isn't it and we get another chance!

@TheOnlyMrsW I'm so sorry to hear about your DM. I've got a feeling you will get another chance - apparently Bruce has said at some of the European concerts that they'll be back and won't leave it so long next time. Stevie Van Zandt has also said on Twitter that they'll be back.

This does leave me with a slight problem. I sold the Villa Park concert to DH as my last chance to see Bruce, it was most likely his farewell tour etc. etc. How the hell do I sell another one to him?!

Anyone there today, how was Frank Turner opening? We're long time fans, kind of got to know him a little bit through multiple meetings over the years and he's a sweetheart, playing with Springsteen was an absolute bucket list item for him! Really hope he went down well with the crowd and had a good show!

We were at Hyde Park last night. Bruce and the band were amazing, such talented musicians and they didn't take a breath between songs. I'm just a bit gutted we didn't see him in a stadium - BST feels more like a food and drink festival with a band playing rather than a concert if that makes sense.

Loved it when he was talking to the crowd though - you could have heard a pin drop.

Frank Turner was great, he was so happy to be there and his enthusiasm was infectious.

The Chicks didn’t really do much for me.

Snap, Frank Turner really got the crowd going, lots of interaction, catchy songs even though I’d never heard of him before the day. And he looked like he was having an absolute ball.

The Chicks looked like they were doing music by numbers … obviously talented but so so dull.

and Bruce … phenomenal!

Ok, so for BST next year... I Need to be able to sit down & can't get down on the ground anymore (knees fucked) is there anywhere to sit down? LowWall, hay bale, anything... ?

There are lots of benches/tables at the very back around the food areas. Not sure how much of the atmosphere you'd get sat there the entire time though ...

thanks for that.

with a lot of pain killers I wouldn't need to sit the entire time, but I need to know I can sit somewhere. I'm only 54, I'd never considered I'd be unable to simply sit on the ground at this age. 🙄🙄🙄

Buy an accessible ticket.
I have a chronic illness/disability which is luckily settled atm, but I've had wheelchair tickets, and accessible tickets in the past.
The staff are usually brilliant at venues if you are struggling.

I’ve just purchased tickets for Cardiff! We live nowhere near Cardiff 😅 but have been to London so many times and we’re going to Wembley to watch Taylor Swift so thought it would be a nice change. Can’t wait to give the tickets to DP on Christmas Day!

I got mine for Wembley today through the O2 presale. I fully expected them to cock it up like with Peter Kay but they didn't!

We got Club Wembley seats but it'll be a bit of a come down after hospitality at Villa Park! Poor DH will be sitting through his 4th Bruce concert with me after I assured him that this year's tour was the farewell tour!

Brilliant present! I’m in Scotland and nowhere near London but I love London so happy to go. I actually would have loved the Ireland gigs but I have two exam aged kids and in Scotland the exams are in May so I couldn’t ditch them even for Bruce!
