Hate to say it, but it’s been reasonably ok (SmoreEish) by me today. Lovely strong breeze all day.

I'm wearing short shorts. I'm honestly so hot I'm officially past the stage of caring what people might think so I even went outside in them despite not shaving my legs. 😅

I usually wfh but I have to go into the office tomorrow and I’m questioning whether it’s acceptable to wear shorts…(no client meetings or anything like that) Shorts and a tshirt is the most I’ve worn all week and I’m not sure I can face anything else!

It’s freezing here, too cold to sit out and I regretted not taking a jacket on the school run. It’s my day off and I wanted to sunbath with a good book.

That was me yesterday. My skin felt hot constantly so I was also using my plant sprayer liberally (fine mist from a great height so it moistens the air around you as well as dampening your skin. Add a few drops of essential oil (my current favourite is lavender) and drinking copious amounts of green tea with mint...🌹

Monday and Tuesday are set to be 10c hotter than today (today was 27c) so I'm making the most of today's relatively mild conditions 😅

Used the ice packs that came with my recipe box delivery today. Bliss!

Better than yesterday when it was only 14C and I had to pop the central heating on for an hour.

It’s not been that hot today in the south east, around 26. I’ve just been in the garden in the shade watching dd play. It’s next week I’m more worried about.

I tried to hang wall paper but it was so hot I stripped to my knickers. Then realised I'd taken down the curtains but only after I'd hung a roll of wallpaper.
I hope I wasn't spotted.

Had to stop after that, just too hot even in just my knickers.

I'm still wearing my cosy jammies. It's really not very warm here, I'm gutted.

I'm making room in my freezer so that I can put a couple of (hot) water bottles in there, a third/half full of cold water so I can pack those round me - wrapped in towels- so I can sleep properly when the weather is hottest in the next few days. 🌹
