...sitting indoors with the blinds shut wearing nothing but a giant pair of M&S nude pants and spraying myself with a plant spraying bottle.

Honestly, I'm not a troll and I'm so happy I live alone so that no one can see me!! What are you doing to keep cool?

Today has been fine here (Kent), it’s not as humid as Mon/Tues nights either. I’s this coming Sun- Tuesday I’m dreading.
We’ve booked cinema tickets for Monday evening.

No way! Blankets? Oodies?

For such a small country, we have crazy differences in weather.

@elephantoverthehill I admire your fortitude! And taking DC! That's impressive!

To be honest I am quite cold just now. I was just thinking of taking a blanket downstairs to keep me warm while watching TV. Seriously.

It's been raining on and off all day. It would be nice to have a little bit of summer.

I am in Scotland.

OldTinHat · 14/07/2022 21:33

@Itsincidental You're on!! Everything hurts so much all the time - 'use heat pads' they say, 'use ice packs' they say! So let's try swapping!

Seriously though, I'm sorry you're suffering too.

OldTinHat · 14/07/2022 21:35

@Redvelvet73 Can we swap homes too?! We could have a rota going on!

Today in Edinburgh it is so hot that I am wearing jeans, vest top, thick Breton top and a thick hoodie Sad

justasking111 · 14/07/2022 21:53

Pleasant summers day in n Wales with a light breeze. Scattered showers tomorrow. We're going to suffer in a couple of days though weather man says

elephantoverthehill · 14/07/2022 22:02

@OldTinHat My Dm aged 89 came into the sea as well. It's lovely once you're in

TokyoSushi · 14/07/2022 22:07

Nice and warm but not too hot here in Cheshire. I am at the stage of looking around the house for more things to wash as they dry so quickly!

OldTinHat · 14/07/2022 22:09

@SirChenjins That's equally hilarious and not funny!

OldTinHat · 14/07/2022 22:11

@justasking111 sounds perfect! But are you being warned with heat or rain?

@elephantoverthehill which beach and your mum is equally amazing! I bumble to Appley (my favourite because I like the ice cream at the cafe!) or Compton for the views.

OldTinHat · 14/07/2022 22:14

@TokyoSushi towels drying like cardboard that you have to stand on to fold?!

Pleasant summers day here. Went for a walk with DH about 8.30pm and glad I took a jumper as I needed it on the way back. Now under a blanket on the couch (with an iced wine) for Love Island on catch up.

elephantoverthehill · 14/07/2022 22:19

If I want to make a morning of it I go to Seagrove, but we have just been swimming / paddling/floating off the groin by the cafe by the life guard station. Lots of small stones this year.

Feckingfeck · 14/07/2022 22:23

Cinema... has air conditioning 😉

Plinkton · 15/07/2022 11:20

Enjoying reading in the garden whilst putting off work I need to do but I'll do that later on
