I am late 50s and my Mum (early 90s) ticked me off for not messaging her to say I'd arrived safely at my holiday destination (France). Ffs.

I moved the kitchen towel

every night when I water the bloody plants and vegetables "don't get the leaves wet, they'll burn!" Every day!

didn't iron the non iron uniform.

cover that baked ham PROPERLY and don't rip the foil. I'm 33.

I’m late forties and my MIL (closest to an actual Mum I’ve ever had) reminded me to wear a hat in the sun yesterday. My kids found it hilarious.

We always message her when we arrive anywhere on holiday or the likes.

We sometimes message her when we get home as it makes her roll her eyes as she lives with us. The kids have started occasionally doing it to me as well. 😁

I'm in my 30s and my mum told me off for going out with wet hair.
I was too hot to dry it with the hairdryer yesterday!

It would probably have dried as quickly outside, with the weather we've been having.

31 - I got told off for forgetting to put sun cream on and subsequently being red faced (very, in fact).

• my earrings were too big and someone could pull them out of my ears
• she thought the bath I'd run myself was too hot
• keeping my soap in a soap dish

• going to a climbing wall.

I am 37 and all of this was in my own home 😂
