Anyone watching Kyrgios v Djokovic?

It's annoying me how Kyrgios is having ongoing conversations with his coach etc in the players' box.

And his backwards baseball cap!

Where is gentleman Federererererer when you need him?!

NK making Djokovic look so reasonable

TheMess · 10/07/2022 16:34

Tom is going to pop down and give Nick a pep talk in a minute. Manly hug, quick audit, calm him down.

brown543 · 10/07/2022 16:34

That man is everywhere....

Lol. I have to confess he turned up at an event I was at last week. He was friendly and pleasant enough though.

Whereas Nick Kyrgios is a total tool. Truly objectionable.

What are the commentators talking about?

LadyJGrey · 10/07/2022 16:35

Andrew Castle clearly loves him.
His behaviour is “not ideal” - understatement there, mate.

Ginajo · 10/07/2022 16:36

I'm amazed on social media how many people are saying they love him and want him to win. I guess it explains why so many people supported Johnson. Decent standards of behaviour and respect don't seem to matter to a lot of people.

ChinBristles · 10/07/2022 16:37

I'm not liking how Andrew Castle is calling him "interesting and attractive" and minimising his behaviour as "not ideal".

OP posts:
Fifthtimelucky · 10/07/2022 16:37

I don't like either player and this is the first time I've ever wanted Djokovic to win.

But whatever I think of the players, I can't deny that their tennis is extraordinary.

WhyDoesItAlways · 10/07/2022 16:38

What is castle on about? Calling him a "complex man". No, he's just an aggressive twat.

My DS is very keen for Kyrgios win, on the grounds that his DGAF behaviour at the last press conference was 'really funny'. DS is 24. Hmm

Ginajo · 10/07/2022 16:39

I've decided Andrew Castle is also a twat.

ClaudiusTheGod · 10/07/2022 16:40

Castle observed that the current girlfriend has been credited with helping NK to calm down in recent times… yet another woman acting as unpaid emotional support to a tool of a man. FGS…. I bet she walks on eggshells!

ChinBristles · 10/07/2022 16:41

I think Kyrgios has a persecution complex. He seems to think the crowds and all the officials have it in for him. Instead of just blaming himself when he makes a mistake.

dioes anyone know what he's on about? just looks like constant whinging but i can't hear any of it

KangarooKenny · 10/07/2022 16:41

I’m really missing Roger 🥰 I do hope we get to see him back one day.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 10/07/2022 16:41

Just imagine how relaxed a Federer-Norrie final would have felt!

ChinBristles · 10/07/2022 16:41

Genuine question - what would a player actually have to do to be disqualified for bad behaviour? Actually assault someone?

balalake · 10/07/2022 15:41

This is a match where for different reasons, I'd like both players to lose.

It's a match between An Established Arse and a Up and Coming Arse.

dropthevipers · 10/07/2022 16:43

Anyone else wondering if this is all an act to gee himself up or is he actually bonkers?

Maireas · 10/07/2022 16:43

Yep - Djokavic hit a ball in anger, it hit a line judge and he was gone. I do think all the shouting should be penalised, though.

Gingersay · 10/07/2022 16:43

It'll be interesting to see what Kyrgios does at the end if he doesn't win.
Personally I would give him 28 mins on the naughty step and take his phone off him for the night!

Good point

TeacupDrama · 10/07/2022 16:44

men have to wear a tie in the royal box, they have a secret supply in case a male celeb "forgets"

MrsGamgee · 10/07/2022 16:44

I actually don't want to continue watching this because he is such an absolute bellend. It's scary how angry he is, if I was in his box I'd have told him to get fucked and stormed out.

I have no idea. The ranting is really bizarre. Surely it would be better o quietly contemplate his tactics than the constant berating of his entourage?
