Who should win the Tory leadership contest based on sheer good looks?

The obvious candidate is Jacob Rees-Mogg but since I suspect he's unlikely to stand, who else should I have my eye on?

I have met a few of them in real life. Hunt is lovely. Very charming and clearly looks after himself. Patel is much prettier in real life but is a very odd shape.

Grant Shapps is much better looking in the flesh and taller!

Sunak has the skinniest legs I have ever seen on a man.

zafferana · 08/07/2022 15:08

Larry the Downing Street cat.

I have also met Rees Moggs wife. Sparky and not what I expected at all. He must have hidden depths.

Ticksallboxes · 08/07/2022 15:09

Definitely Ben Wallace!!

He is also the only candidate who could lead this country IMO.

He just seems very principled, kind and actually trustworthy and is a very charismatic speaker. His military background helps in our current times too!

I've met Ellwood, Mercer and Tugendhat (aswell as Dan Jarvis) a few times.

All seem genuinely nice

NippyWoowoo · 08/07/2022 15:23

I think some people have missed the 'good looks' part of the title Confused

gryilla · 08/07/2022 15:34

Tom Tugendhat is cute but do you not think he has a bit of a baby face?

Agree James Cleverly has a great smile! I'd never heard of him until the last couple of days but he's a great addition to the pool 😉

Larry

LucyLocketLostThePlot · 08/07/2022 15:50

Jeremy Hunt

Toddlerteaplease · 08/07/2022 15:51

Definitely Larry.

Priti is gorgeous. But I would love to send her the name of a good tailor!

Steve Baker has a very fine head of hair.

Steve Baker is quite good looking for a man of his age! So many of the male politicians are overweight or bald or odd looking.

claracluck1978 · 08/07/2022 15:56

Ellwood. Sadly he's stated he won't be running.

LaFeuilleMorte · 08/07/2022 15:59

I’ve met Hunt and he is quite attractive and charming in a non-smarmy way.

Steve Baker is really odd looking!

Another one saying Raab <hates self>

xalo · 08/07/2022 16:04

Tugendhat or Wallace

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 08/07/2022 16:05

Tom T. He is a bit cheeky and very capable.

FourTeaFallOut · 08/07/2022 16:06

Raab because that's more my cup of tea or Patel if we're are talking a solid line of symmetry.

jossysgiant · 08/07/2022 16:08

Is Johnny Mercer still an MP? If so him, followed by (and a close second) Michael Fabricant 😉

Hoppinggreen · 08/07/2022 16:10

I don’t think Johnny Mercer is standing but I totally would.
Hunt is quite dishy in a startled llama kind of way

I find him very appealing, in a well bred upper class way, but I do love a man with a good head of hair!

RichardsGear · 08/07/2022 16:14

Tugendhat looks about 12, and Rishi Sunak like he has micocephaly 😬.

Someone said Raab reminds them of Simon Cadell and that's all I see.

Can't get behind any of them, male or female.

Yes, but isn't standing as of yet.

RichardsGear · 08/07/2022 16:15

microcephaly
