Not sporn or gross habits. Just every day things.

Used teabags make me feel funny.

Bits of cooked egg on a fish slice/spatula is gross.

The corners of books when they're turned up.

Feet. I even hate the word. This time of year is the worst for it with people wearing sandals. No one seems to put socks or shoes on their toddlers and babies. I hate it especially toddlers when their feet get chubby and shapeless. It's horrible.

Also certain names and words make me feel ill.

Such are the joys of being autistic and having an overreaction to so many things.

What normal things disgust you?

Homemade food that's been brought to a second location.

If I'm presented with anything someone's made and brought into work, or a picnic, or anywhere, I'll do everything possible to get away from it. Especially if it's in a Tupperware or other similar container. The idea of a 'pot luck' makes me want to projectile vomit.

Someone once started a 'Bake Off' thing at work which was a nightmare. I avoided it as much as possible, but at one point I had to put a slice of cake in my pocket and throw it in a bin on a different floor to avoid offending them/appearing insane.

Belly buttons. Even my own 🤢

Scrubbing out a scrambled egg pan.
And I eat them most days ... ooof!

The smell of charity shops. I know I’m being ridiculous, but they all have an odd smell and I last only a few minutes before having to go outside.

The dust in the bath after the water has drained, even though it was washed or rinsed before filling

Sticky toddler hands after they've used them to eat yoghurt

Warm egg mayo found hiding on the floor hours after said toddler has finished a meal

Residual fat in a tray after cooking - especially fish, burgers and sausages

Hair in the shower tray - especially when it's not your own

Food in the kitchen sink plug hole

My partner emptied the under stairs cupboard the other day and have what we decided to keep a good tidy. I turned round - having not looked at my 2 year old for a maximum of 10 seconds - to find her chomping on something long, thin, brown and crunchy. I grabbed the object out of her mouth and it turned out to be a very old dried up dead slug 🤮

Teeth. I cannot handle it when dc try to show me their wobbly teeth.

the sound when someone needs to blow their nose, they talk all thick, stuck up with mucus. A newsreader was doing this a week or so ago, eyes red, obviously got a bunged up nose. The thought of all that catarrh made me gag. Also, some people talking on the radio with obviously very dry claggy mouth, and you can hear the stickiness.........gag. Oh and dishcloths in other people's houses

Hair in water.Not someone in a pool or whatever i mean a strand of hair floating

Eggs, whether boiled, fried, scrambled, poached etc. The smell, taste and texture is just absolutely rotten and makes me gag. I even hate if they are on my plate. Sometimes when you ask for breakfast without, they still arrive & it's not just a case of removing it because the yellow goo has seeped everywhere contaminating the nice food.

Even years ago as a waitress, I used to hate the breakfast shift.

I really hate eggs!

The smell of dirty hair/scalp.

The smell of fried food on peoples's clothes or outside a cafe. There is a large KFC on my local industrial estate and as I drive into it I can smell the awful stench of stale fried food, it turns my stomach, even more so in hot weather.

The sight and, even worse, the sound of people kissing on TV and film. It is disgusting having to see and listen to all the sloppy, wet sounds. I turn the sound off now and just walk away until the vileness is over.

Fingers/hands touching carpet. Toes/feet are ok though!

Anything that has been submerged in the sea and gone all green and manky eg the underside of boats or worse the posts stuck in the sea in harbours and things. Grim.

when people eat whitebait. I don’t get how it’s fun to chomp on the bones and fish shit still contained therein.

The feel of necklaces and lipstick.

My ExH's horrible teeth - he didn't clean them for a solid two years 🤢🤢 They were overcrowded and looked like a neglected cemetery, plus the bottom ones looked liked they'd been stabbed into his gums, instead of growing upwards. Made me squirm, especially his black death breath and when he cleaned his teeth with his tongue.

I forgot long nails. Nails in general but long nails are the worst.
