Given how difficult it is to offer hints for redactle, without giving it away/being too obvious, this is a specific thread for hints.

Doesn't mean that they should give the game away, but it just stops other players seeing the hint every time they access the main thread.

So from now on, just keep your stats and general comments on the main thread and come here for any hints!

Yes, @MrsElm - it's a word I would normally expect to see hyphenated as well!

I got today's after guessing two consecutive words that I could google, but this is a) very obscure b) a bit similarish (at least lots of similar terms) to yesterday?

I suppose it's a bit similar to yesterdays in being an important application of yesterdays general field. But as I commented on the main thread it's a 'two cultures' sort of topic - really fundamental, not obscure.

It is a sort of "shakespeare" level of fame, or more like e.g. Emily Dickinson?
