What would you stop your neighbours doing?

You can only pick ONE!

No barking dogs
No cigarette smoking
No lawn mowing/strimming
No shrieking children
No BBQs/fire pits
No hot tubs/pools
No arguing
No DIY
No music playing
No ball games

It's a tough one for me, but I'm going to go for 'No barking dogs'!!

Probably more control over the dog roaming around

I would need two off your list because from my experience they go hand in hand. Loud music and hot tubs. Although with the cost of energy hot tubs might not be around much longer.

Generally pretty nice neighbours, I wish one set would sometimes ask the children to quieten down a little - recently one started recorder lessons and practices over and over again in the garden...! I like listening to children playing, but this was a bit grating.

That's understandable, but the problem is when to have them, especially if their is always one neighbour or another with washing on line.

@Hawkins001 surely there's no good time
To have a bonfire. Would make more sense to take rubbish to the dump.

Fair point, but what about bbq ?

@AutumnalLeaves38
I'm not ok at all, I have been fobbed off by the council and other agencies for nearly 3 years. Can't move as can't and wouldn't sell without declaring neighbour dispute.Terrified and trapped.
I am pressing charges against him for the latest death threats, which will only strengthen the case for him to be removed. But it's a long wait for post-covid court dates.
Thank you for being so kind.

Dog barking. Bastards. (The owners that is, the ones who can't be arsed to train their dog.)

Feeding the foxes

My neighbour is pretty much a nuisance department, does tick almost every item😱
Even now, kids are screaming/shouting on the trampoline, peeping into our garden/house. Thankfully, dad has joined them and he just came across me while I was standing in my kitchen.
They will soon start BBQ so I will have to shut all of the windows in this hot weather, it will last until midnight.

I can choose all choices but if I pick one, "No BBQ" is the winner.
My blo* neighbour needs to set a fire every day, anytime without a day off.

Arguing. Is a mum and her teen lad next door to me. They are either arguing with each other, or he is having a proper meltdown when playing computer games.
