I'm having a cold non-fizzy wine watching the rest of the UK bask in ridiculous sunshine while here has been raining the majority of the day (though it's now quite pleasant).

isn't fizzy wine just sparkling wine, like prosseco or Champagne just not from a specific place.

I'm in! I'm outside drinking a coffee-banana frozen smoothie (frozen banana, ice, milk, espresso) and wondering whether I should add a shot of vodka 🙃.

Mine's not fizzy OP, but I have a very nice pinot gris on the go with my book. There is a rose bush behind me in (very) full bloom and the wind is periodically wafting the scent over. I love sunny evenings in my garden

I'll join you - I finished work at 5.15 and have had 3 x G&T and now working my way through a bottle of white wine and soda! Too hot here to sit outside at the mo (North East UK!) but will go out later once the sun dips a bit. Spoken to a friend in the North West a couple of hours ago and temp there has dropped 7 degrees already to 23C so sounds like the cooler weather is on the way
I don't mind really 30C is way too hot for my pasty self! I've been red faced and puffing all day. I have no small children here by the way in case I sound like a lush - adults only house these days.

I've had to move on from the rose wine to Estrella Damm because the rose was going down a bit too easily

I don't usually drink fizzy sparkling wine but it was a birthday present from a few weeks ago and it suited my garden drinking.

I have an ice cold can of beer, feet up on the sofa, all the windows open. My garden isn't habitable at the moment and I'm too pale to enjoy the sun anyway, but it's absolutely lovely.

Not looking forward to the rain apparently appearing tomorrow.
