It's 30 degrees here still and I am on the aperol

I've pottered about and watered the plants. This is my favourite time of year.

I had a Pimms but it is finished now. I'll be having another as soon as the DC are in bed though.

I wish I had bought some Pimms. It's summer in a bottle.

It is in this part of Yorkshire. It's quite warm, only slightly windy, but I've found a sheltered spot, and not raining.

I've been out here about 3 hours and have had a can of lager <classy> and two G&Ts. I'm just chilling with some of my cats.

I'm on my second negroni - it's been a challenging day 😉

You should be drinking the lager in your front garden, if you want to be proper classy.

Me! Cooling down now thank goodness! Two lovely glasses of wine in after a hectic week. Having a takeaway tomorrow.

For the comments about Yorkshire being cooler - I am in Yorkshire (South) and it's cracking the flags still- just shows what a massive county Gods own is!

Yup. Just a bit further north than you and my Pimm's is an indoor drink with a blanket covering my optimistically suited shorts clad legs.

Rather close and foreboding here so sitting in my conservatory with the doors open in case of a storm. With a large gin and tonic.

All was peaceful here until 3 fat wood pigeons decided to scuffle about on the fence. I'm not sure if they are scrapping or having a threesome.

Prosecco here watching sonic 2 with dc3, who had a hospital appointment today, so we’ve paid for the movie as a treat. (He loved it in the cinema). Also dodgy weather here, after a glorious morning!

I'm cheap ans cheerful but chilled lambrini cherry is perfect for this weather. It's dangerous though, doesn't taste like booze and goes down too easy 🤣🤣🤣
