I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day; not in silence though today, the washer's on so I can get two loads done & on the line before going out.

I'm off into town with my Guides in a little while, to solve a murder mystery treasure trail, then lunch at McDonald's.

After that, dd1's going to meet me and dd2 to swap some pj's in Primark & for a wander round the market.

I haven't got a clue what's for tea yet but there will be a 🍷or two for me!

I'm really really looking forward to sitting down tonight after a busy week 😴

Good morning. I’m having a coffee in bed. Then it’s a day of housework! I’m going away for a week next week so I like to have everything done before I go. I can be somewhat of a slattern at times (by MN standards!) but one thing I am strict about is not leaving anything untidy before I go away. I will then reward myself with a couple of glasses of wine this evening. Might have them in the garden if the weather stays nice.

Not a lot today! Might go for a run shortly, was thinking about parkrun but won't make that now so just my usual loop for me today. We need to go shops at some point and might wonder over to the library. Otherwise a nice lazy one here for us I think, looking forward to it!

Morning! I am off to bootcamp then mowing our meadow of a lawn.

Then got some work to catch up on. Planning a quiet night in with DH as we've both been away a lot recently and hardly seen each other.

It’s been a crazy few weeks at work so I am going to take the kids out today and enjoy some time with them. We have a really cute craft market in the village today, so I want to get some bits from there.

Visit family after that and then come home in time for the match and maybe a BBQ

Heading out for a cycle on my own in blue skies and sunshine followed by a day in the garden. Dh is working all wkend so I can do as I like 😀

Still in bed and will get up and make scrambled eggs. Boys hobby this morning then we have a local fair (local ish) which I am looking forward to.

There's a job I'm keen to apply for but I probably will bottle out. But will likely fill in the application and ponder it for a while.

Will tomato feed my plants today. Lupins started coming out.

not a lot this morning a bit of house work and just chilling. About to nip to the corner shop for bread so everyone can have bacon & sausage sandwiches.

ds1 (10) has an off season rugby social this afternoon so we’ll be heading out to that. Will have to take my toddlers too but luckily there is a rather good ice cream shop near by so we can enjoy that

DH is off out with his mates for an evening of food & football so ds1 and I are having take away from our local Japanese and watching a movie.

once all the kids are in bed I’ll be enjoying some peace and quiet 😁

Just pottering around, dog walk this morning. Brother coming around for dinner then all 4 men here will be watching Champions League football tonight. If it stays nice I shall be in the garden doing bits and sitting reading in the sun.

Good morning, I'm sat in the sofa with a dog and a cuppa. Dh is at the gym, when he gets home we're off for a sun bed (we go on holiday next week), then meeting friends for lunch. After that it's adulting for the rest of the weekend

Waiting for the pool to open then I'll be mumsnetting on a sunbed, interspersed with going on the waterslides! Had an awful few weeks with employee issues so was really ready for a break far away from it all!

I'm waiting to make bacon butties! Today is the second weekend of garden renovations and I need to fuel the workers. So far they've taken down and removed a 20ft x 10ft workshop and a 30/40ft fir tree (my neighbour's tree that has been blocking light and I've paid for 🤬).

Today they are pruning a crab apple tree and doing general gardening. Oh and one of them is also fixing my loft ladder! I'm lucky because they are professional tradesmen but charging me pence because I'm disabled. They're fabulous guys! I have friends who don't have a garden at the ready with a bbq, so that will be the jubilee weekend sorted!

I'm also so upset after reading the DC18 thread. How brave, strong and incredible is that family? And that beautiful soul will go on to save so many others. No words.

Putting all of the non summer clothes away into the storage - I live in southern europe so it needs doing. Taking the dog to the beach early evening then home to watch the match.

I'm having a coffee in bed. In a minute I need to get up and get us packed to go away for the weekend.

Dh has just taken Dd to the park with her bike so the house is quiet and I'm savouring it before the madness of a busy weekend with cousins and dogs etc starts!

Im in Europe and just watching the news with a coffee. DH is out with dd at football and other 2 are still in bed!
Hoping to get into the city today as there is a church fair on at the English church so I want to capture a bit of that Englishness m missing! not been back for over 2 years! In fact it's two years since we moved
There's also a small music festival on so would like to see a bit of that too!

Morning 🔆 A day of domestic bliss stretches before me. Well, behind as well as there’s already laundry on the line.

Going to pick up empty boxes from a chum as we are moving soon. Just bought our first house! Plus take some unfortunate purchases back for a refund, then on to Curry’s to get a TV model number to use said chum’s student discount to buy online. Then home again to pack a bit. Might also go to TKMaxx as another friend needs a handbag of a specific colour so might FaceTime her while pointing at seconds.

Town may or may not be deserted as apparently there is a big rugby match elsewhere so that’ll help.

Quite dull and stress free and I’m looking forward to it.

Good morning. I'm trying to muster energy to get up (awful sleep). Need to go food shopping and a run before heading to work for 1200-0200.

There's a very real chance I'll get up sit on the sofa drinking coffee and then rush to get ready for work missing out the food shop and the run. 😬

I've just been for a very early run in the fells. Now debating going out for breakfast. It's quite cold so I've put the heating on and sitting in bed to warm up.

Putting my winter clothes away and getting out the summer ones a hellish messy job but once it's done I'll feel happy!!

I got up early to watch the last episode of 'This is Us' in peace before the rest of the house arose.
It was lovely. Me, the cat and a cup of tea.

Just taken a covid test. Positive for me and DH! So all plans cancelled, DC bouncing around asking what we're doing today. Luckily it is sunny so have got them out in the garden! Tbf there are worse weekends that it could have happened on, we didn't have much planned.

Bathroom bits being done watching more stranger things getting over this infection, hoping to walk around our flats to see the rose buds.

Off to meet my best friends new grandchild, can’t wait.
Then home to do a bit of baking for a memorial tomorrow.
Then off to a friends for a barbecue tonight.

Morning everyone!

DH has taken the kids away this weekend for 3 nights!!!! And I am home alone with the dog! This is the first time in our entire experience as parents (DD is nearly 10) that this has happened.

SO you can imagine how ecstatic I am!!!!

So far I’ve Had my tea and toast, played with Pupsy, mowed the lawn, watered the plants and arranged to collect a travel crate this afternoon off Marketplace.

You’ll find me circa 5pm with a chilled Sauvignon blanc and a book…and that’s me done for the night. Utter, utter bliss!!!!
