I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day; not in silence though today, the washer's on so I can get two loads done & on the line before going out.

I'm off into town with my Guides in a little while, to solve a murder mystery treasure trail, then lunch at McDonald's.

After that, dd1's going to meet me and dd2 to swap some pj's in Primark & for a wander round the market.

I haven't got a clue what's for tea yet but there will be a 🍷or two for me!

I'm really really looking forward to sitting down tonight after a busy week 😴

What about all of you?

I'm finishing breakfast (cream cheese and cucumber toast) and then going to take MIL out for a mooch around a local ish stately home and some lunch.

DH is taking Ds1 for haircut and new trainers.

Ds2 is at cub camp. Feels wierd without him around this morning. He's 9 and this is the first time he's been away without any of us.

Just waiting for my breakfast to settle and then I'm going for a run.

DH has decided to invite 11 people over for a last minute BBQ so im leaving him to the sorting and organising of that. (I hate BBQ food but he LOVES it, so I will give in occasionally). There will be 6 children here, ages 2, 3, 9, 9, 11 & 13 😖

I doubt our guests will leave till very late so I'll just drink wine and socialise whilst hoping hayfever wont finish me off. My SIL usually gets absolutely rat arsed so I expect to spend some time trying to keep her under control too.

Can you tell I'm really looking forward to this.

I am staying with my two children with my nan for the weekend. DH had to stay home for work. We moved away from the borough our family lives in 6 months ago so come stay in my Nan's spare room in the school holidays. No real plans for today but I usually do some of my Nan's housework and gardening that she now struggles to do. There is also a new playground at the end of the road to go along to.

DH and I are sat in bed drinking tea and he is reading out bits on the BBC news site to me.

Doing some gardening and transferring plants to beds out of pots. Friends were supposed to be coming over but have cancelled as the DH has covid. DH will be putting the kitchen sink pipe work back together after an incident that caused a falling out briefly, now being laughed at. He is a scientist and I could do without his experiments at home. This kitchen is not a lab has been said on more than once occasion.

Walk around a local lake and woodland later. I will be able to cook after two days of no kitchen due to experiment rectified. Watch the last episode of Marcella and we will also both play our respective video games for a couple of hours.

We planned this trip pre Covid but only just got here now.

Quite excited! We've been on our travels since 2am and we're all starving now.
DNiece is taking us to her favourite cafe for breakfast (she lived here a few years ago and knows where all the hidden gems are).

I’m in bed with DP and a coffee waiting for the boys dad to come and pick them up to take them to Liverpool.

We’ve got a day of jobs as we’re having a big party next weekend so need to sort the house and garden out in readiness.

I’m thinking of booking a nice restaurant for us tonight as we have a Saturday with no kids but might just cook something a bit special and watch the football at home…

At swimming lesson with dd2 then taking her to tap lesson . Going to shops this afternoon as dd2 has birthday money burning a hole in her pocket . Need to sort some stuff out for a car boot tomorrow too.

Exam revision. DS is with his father so no need to get out of bed until tomorrow afternoon. I'd rather be going for a nice walk somewhere!!

Some housework and then I'm taking ds to spend his birthday money on some lego he wants. Dh taking other ds for dinner tonight for some 1 to 1 time.

I had to cancel this mornings rugby tots as I’m the only coach without covid, so at least that has brought me some extra free time. We’re about to head off into the city, we need to get some clothes for the smalls and a birthday present.

My son has his first proper dance show today, so we aren’t really doing anything this afternoon so he isn’t too tired for that, he won’t be finished until 8 which is quite late for him.

We’re off to outhaus later in clapham.

Lovely morning here. I’m getting a new fridgefreezer delivered tomorrow, so am defrosting the old one today. Other job is to make two fleece liners for the guinea pig cage, bought the fleeces yesterday. Otherwise just usual housework and hoping to put my feet up later on. Also watching another episode of Stranger Things 4 with the teens this evening, which we are looking forward too, and avoiding the football!

We have a lovely day planned, DH and the children are getting some jobs done in the garden and I'm off to meet up with MIL we get on really well and often meet up just the 2 of us. I'm taking the train to her town love a train journey and we are having lunch and a mooch around the charity shops. We also have similar tastes in books so I've got some books I've recently enjoyed to pass on to her.

Will be home in time for tea not sure what we are having I'll get something from Waitrose on way home.

Football tonight not that I'm that Interested but DH and teens are so getting snacks etc to enjoy with it.

We are child free today for the first time in years! We were going to go watch both doctor strange and top gun but it's a lovely morning so off to Yorkshire for a walk on the moors and some lunch somewhere. Possibly cinema tonight if we're not asleep!

Hello! Just sitting with my first tea of the day. Ds in bed still, dh works nights so he is in bed too. My washer is on. It was sunny when I got up at 9 but has clouded over now. I really want to get washing out so I hope it doesn't rain. Shower in a few mins and wake ds. It's my mums birthday tomorrow so ds and I are heading round to mums with a chippy lunch at 12. Mum and I have theatre tickets booked to see a play at 2.30 in town (Liverpool). I'm looking forward to that. Ds will come home when we leave (we live in next road) and do revision for Gcses. Planning on making a chicken risotto for tea which I've not tried before. Ds and dh will watch LFC tonight on TV as they are keen supporters . I will potter around while they do that. Dh will go to work later and ds will play his guitar. I will catch up on some TV before bed. I have a week off as I'm a TA and it's lovely to have the free time just stretching ahead. It'll be a week filled with relaxing and a couple of trips out and treats.

Morning @lucysmam! I am still in bed with a cup of tea, hayfever or a cold of some sort is kicking my butt this morning, I feel quite rough! But I shall get up at 10 ish, shower and start cleaning through the house. We are off on holiday this evening, for a week in Brecon. Really looking forward to it!

DH has just dropped DS1 at DofE training and nipped into town to collect his new phone, I am in charge of DS2, DD and DDog. So, packing, cleaning, making sure uniform is ready for after the week (coming home on Sunday and don't want it to be a rush), etc. We have some M&S posh dog sausages to have for lunch as hot dogs, which is sadly exciting.

I'm currently browsing tickets to Hay festival events too - so exciting!

Good morning! Me, DP and the 2 DC are going to a 4th birthday party this morning (soft play / bouncy castle type thing). Then probably some lunch and a walk in the park after.

Miserable weather where I am today so not really feeling like doing anything. DD is at volleyball day camp and I'm a bit jealous. Will drag myself outside after DS's naptime to play with the little boy across the road who is visiting his grandparents.
And think I'll make some jammy flapjacks for pudding today and in the evening watch something with DD (currently watching Servant of the People with her)

Ive had an awful virus so we're planning on going a drive to get out the house.

I'm on a course all weekend on Zoom. I'm just starting to retrain as a counsellor and this is the first short course I have to do in order to get on to the PG diploma. It's pretty full on, 9-5:30 both days.

I couldn't sleep last night so I'm exhausted, I'm on my 3rd Diet Coke and I've also had a coffee!

We’re off to a wedding later, ceremony at 3pm, can’t wait 🙂. In a good way of course.

DH is in Paris! At cricket all day with DS2, DD going out into town this afternoon and wants picking up at 7.30 for the match. DS1 going out into town to watch the match 😁 All about the match here!! Lovely sunny day for cricket
