I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day; not in silence though today, the washer's on so I can get two loads done & on the line before going out.

I'm off into town with my Guides in a little while, to solve a murder mystery treasure trail, then lunch at McDonald's.

After that, dd1's going to meet me and dd2 to swap some pj's in Primark & for a wander round the market.

I haven't got a clue what's for tea yet but there will be a 🍷or two for me!

I'm really really looking forward to sitting down tonight after a busy week 😴

What about all of you?

It's our town's carnival today. So that's us sorted. Parade, street food, couple of beers and local bands on the sea front. Pity it's not sunnier but should be a lovely day.

I've found a way to watch the ice hockey world championships for free so watching the Finland v USA game will now be my day instead of making flapjacks (turns out I don't have enough butter anyway)

It's been a mental week with work, and I just want to chill! DS is on a camp with cubs, so just DD at home. Potter about the house, do some washing, maybe bake a cake/cupcakes with DD, watch a film. DH wants to watch the football tonight, so I might just retire to bed and watch a film/read...

Feeling productive today despite being late home from a wedding yesterday. Nice bit of playtime at home before an early trip to the shops to pick a present for a birthday party DS1 is going to later (so much better being at the shops when they are quiet!), an hour of DS1 and 2 running around soft play and now lunch at the garden centre before said party. Hopefully a quieter evening - baked potatoes for dinner and a film for me and DH later. Phew!

Afternoon all! We took DSD swimming and now we’re at the beach, I’m currently sitting on my bum watching DP and DSD freeze to death in the sea. (I’m using pregnancy as an excuse but I wouldn’t have gone in anyway 😂)

Fish and chips for an early tea then home to chill out.

Afternoon everyone!
I've just got back from marrying a lovely couple at a nearby country house and gone upstairs to change from formal Registrar look into my usual grungy rags.
I've got to unpack my suitcase from last week's Centre Parcs stay with family and do the washing, DH is going to do the garden and I think we'll have a takeaway tonight, I can't be bothered to cook.
I’ve got a creepy TV series lined up on Prime and tonight could be the night…

What lovely plans everyone has! So far had a coffee with Bailey's and a bath with the baby in the big tub and lots of bubbles and toys, now trying to get her down for a nap but she's putting up a strong resistance. Lazy day planned after that, maybe get the sprinkler going on the lawn for playtime, thinking of soup and salad for dinner and champagne for dessert! I have to do a ton of meal prep for some friends tomorrow (one with a new baby, one with covid) so taking it very easy today!

Took DD to dancing this morning then picked her up and we all went swimming at the leisure centre. They had a pizza van outside with picnic benches on the grass so had some very nice pizza for lunch sitting outside.

Came home, watched half of Monsters Inc and then went out to play in the garden. It’s beautiful weather and lots of bees buzzing around.

We’re back inside now and DD has crashed out on the sofa with her tablet and a big bowl of berries. DH is working tonight so I’ll get the telly to myself!

We celebrated fosterling No.2's 1st birthday. It's been an honour to share the day with her and she has been thoroughly spoiled by everyone. I am just about to start bedtime for No.1 and No.2 then I will not tackle the ironing
