Pedantle: new online word game!

Anyone found this yet? It started today as an offshoot of Cemantle.

It's like Redactle in that you have to guess the words of (part) of a Wiki entry, but unlike Redactle (which displays the whole text once you have guessed the title) Pedantle lets you carry on guessing individual words after you've guessed the title, so you can 'play' for longer. Then you can click the reveal text button to see the whole entry.

It's on US time (west coast) and a new game starts at either 7pm or 8pm BST.

I got there - found one of the target words last night, and knew I didn't know the other. But slept on it and got there this morning by a bit of lucky (though informed) guessing.

Glad not to have needed to google - but if you don't know the topic and therefore won't know at least one of the key title words then I don't think there's an alternative on this one.

The setters do seem to go beyond typical general knowledge in this game.

I'd have got it sooner if I'd not forgotten one of the basic words I usually throw in first (one of the ones you get for free in redactle). I didn't think it was particularly obscure today (though had to Google the spelling of the last word) but I guess that depends on what sorts of things you have to read!

And what languages you studied!

Wow that was something.

That was difficult, I got the first term in the header but hadn't heard of the second so had to google for that one.
