Pedantle: new online word game!

Anyone found this yet? It started today as an offshoot of Cemantle.

It's like Redactle in that you have to guess the words of (part) of a Wiki entry, but unlike Redactle (which displays the whole text once you have guessed the title) Pedantle lets you carry on guessing individual words after you've guessed the title, so you can 'play' for longer. Then you can click the reveal text button to see the whole entry.

It's on US time (west coast) and a new game starts at either 7pm or 8pm BST.

Sometimes having clever kids means I do actually absorb some of the stuff they go on about, and it helps with pedantle, hooray!

Well that took ages. And why have I only just discovered that if you touch one of the missing words (on iPad) it tells you how many letters in that word?

Its a new thing they added a couple of days ago

They had a pop up announcement a couple of days ago about the enhancement. Maybe some browsers don't show them?
The other really neat enhancement, in case anyone missed it, is conjugating verbs. So if you enter 'be' it will give you is, are, being (that was useful for the Prague Spring one!) etc - all for one guess. The thing to remember is that you need to put in the base verb, so it must be 'be' not 'is'.

I saw the one about the conjugating verbs -which is great - but must have missed the number of letters. Glad it’s only been a few days!

I did notice an adjective change the other day to a completely different word with the same meaning. I promptly forgot what it was though. Possibly a glitch.
