Pedantle: new online word game!

Anyone found this yet? It started today as an offshoot of Cemantle.

It's like Redactle in that you have to guess the words of (part) of a Wiki entry, but unlike Redactle (which displays the whole text once you have guessed the title) Pedantle lets you carry on guessing individual words after you've guessed the title, so you can 'play' for longer. Then you can click the reveal text button to see the whole entry.

It's on US time (west coast) and a new game starts at either 7pm or 8pm BST.

I had no idea where that was going until I got the 4th word right near the end.

I am totally stuck on this one, I’ve got a lot of the words but tried every ‘ology’ and Google and just can’t get it

I found the end of the last sentence, that was helpful. Do you have that bit more or less?

@ErrolTheDragon , I have the first 5 words of that last sentence, the next word I feel is the key and tried so many variations of the connected word I have but no luck.

That one has driven me mad for the last hour. Finally solved it so I can sleep restfully.

I've got a number of what I would have thought would be helpful words but none lead me anywhere at all. It's driving me mad.

@ApolloandDaphne Boris Johnson thinks he's good at it, but he really isn't.

@Rattysparklebum it's quite an old concept, you might say.

'Things Boris Johnson is not good at' isn't exactly a narrow field! 😀

Within the limits of the words you already have in Pedantle it might give you a pointer of the kind of word that would be used by him and his acolytes to describe that sort of thing.
