Pedantle: new online word game!

Anyone found this yet? It started today as an offshoot of Cemantle.

It's like Redactle in that you have to guess the words of (part) of a Wiki entry, but unlike Redactle (which displays the whole text once you have guessed the title) Pedantle lets you carry on guessing individual words after you've guessed the title, so you can 'play' for longer. Then you can click the reveal text button to see the whole entry.

It's on US time (west coast) and a new game starts at either 7pm or 8pm BST.

This is so frustrating. I keep loosing all my guesses, as pp have said.
I got to around 500 guesses!!!! And not going back to do it all again. I'm just really cross with the glitch.

I don't think I've noticed that, maybe I've not left it long enough. Odd it should still know the words you've entered - I sometimes do Times games eg killer sudoku, that totally loses what I've filled in if I leave it too long. I suppose refreshing the page doesn't help?

I was just coming on to say I’d lost a lot of words overnight. I didn’t even realise for quite a while as they still appeared in my list.
I noticed straight away that the three key words I’d uncovered had gone so put those in right away and managed to get it from there with Google’s help.
Very frustrating.

It also wasn't accepting numbers yesterday, which it normally goes. So I had blank th century bc, and couldn't get the number which was really frustrating as it's a good way to anchor it.

I found that too. I hope it sorts itself out for tomorrow, because the glitches destroyed most of the enjoyment of the game today.

Yes i found it hard not to be able to get the numbers. I tried alternatives to 'th' and that helped.

I don't think so, if the wiki text says '2nd' then you can get the 'nd' but it wasn't taking 2 and I don't believe 'second' would have matched. Hopefully just a glitch. Not that knowing the century would have helped many of us in this particular case, I suspect!* Had anyone* heard the target word before?

That took a lot of googling! I got part of it, but that only took me so far.

I put 19 and th in separately yesterday and it accepted them both.

Aargh, I keep losing my words! I don't have time to sit and play this until a finish most days, so I prefer to do a bit then take a break and come back to it, but I keep losing my guesses! Very frustrating!! 😡

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there any way to avoid it?

I've tried refreshing, doesn't work.

I'm not so upset about the losing words, but I am annoyed that I actually solved Henryk whatshisface yesterday and it says I didn't because it lost my words between my completing it and checking back for the new one at 7.59 yesterday. I didn't have time to check the spelling and put the answer back in before the new puzzle landed.
