BJ is trying really hard to do contrite.
Not working.
He's just slinging insults at KS to cover his tracks.

And what I find sickening, absolutely sickening, is using the excuse continually that 'they were working so hard'.
What the fuck does he think care works, NHS, and all the rest were doing?

Insults is all he has got.

Roussette · 25/05/2022 13:06

Hooray! Ian Blackford 'the fish rots from the head down'

Yep

And Blackford. He's right on this(I never thought I'd agree with him)

Its a worry when one would swap the Prime Minister for Blackford.

DuncinToffee · 25/05/2022 13:13

Tory MP Tobias Ellwood, who has called on PM to resign
is repeatedly heckled by his own benches as he says: "This is a damning report...to my colleagues, are you willing, day in, day out, to defend this behaviour publicly?"

L1ttledrummergirl · 25/05/2022 13:13

@jgw1 It's a worry when you sound rational...

Things must be very very bad.

L1ttledrummergirl · 25/05/2022 13:14

I like Ellwood

They weren't working hard after 4pm on Fridays

Absolute pissheads by the sound of it.

DuncinToffee · 25/05/2022 12:56

Did anyone seriously expect him to resign?

No

I did briefly, now what I expect is for the Tories to sort their party out.

L1ttledrummergirl · 25/05/2022 13:15

Whataboutery from his back benchers

DuncinToffee · 25/05/2022 13:16

Pippa Crerar
Boris Johnson claims the party in the Downing Street flat event has been “extensively investigated to the best of my knowledge by Sue Gray”. Errr…

carefullycourageous · 25/05/2022 13:17

They are really, really pissing me off pretending they give a shit about 'rudeness' to the custodian.

They had Wine Time Fridays at 4pm every fucking week. They were taking the piss when they did it, Johnson is continuing to take the piss now.

the80sweregreat · 25/05/2022 13:17

It's been reported that Dominic Cummings thinks that Boris Johnson has been ' let off the hook'.
The full report is on the Guardian website ( although you all probably know this already !!)

InMySpareTime · 25/05/2022 13:17

Evidently the best of his knowledge doesn't extend to actually reading the report he urged us all to wait for.

DuncinToffee · 25/05/2022 13:17

Jenrick and 'war in Europe'

You’ve got a long wait. They’re in full on Animal Farm mode now.

carefullycourageous · 25/05/2022 13:18

I'd have fucking loved Wine Time Fridays at work, thanks.

carefullycourageous · 25/05/2022 13:20

'I believed I was attending work events' what a liar. I'm too cross.

L1ttledrummergirl · 25/05/2022 13:21

Fabricant, thos should be good.
Blaming the guidance, ah, somebody else's fault.

What a knob.

jgw1 · 25/05/2022 13:21

@jgw1 It's a worry when you sound rational...

They are. Even the usual suspects aren't around to defend Boris.

I shall try to be less rational in future.

Has anyone seen a squirrel?

Cornettoninja · 25/05/2022 13:22

@Blossomtoes yup. It’s grimly fascinating to witness.

L1ttledrummergirl · 25/05/2022 13:22

carefullycourageous · 25/05/2022 13:20

'I believed I was attending work events' what a liar. I'm too cross.

I know. Every work event I've ever attended has had alcohol on the desks.
How would one know the difference?

InMySpareTime · 25/05/2022 13:23

Either he did know what was going on and he's a liar, unfit for office,
Or he had no idea that the office complex containing his flat was having repeated Bacchanalean gatherings and he's so oblivious he's unfit for office.
Neither is a good look.

Work events were also banned weren't they?

L1ttledrummergirl · 25/05/2022 13:25

Ds1 has just messaged me, he normally avoids engaging me in politics, I'm far too opinionated, but he's really not happy.
