Apologies it’s wrong way round !

Been trying to figure it out a while but no idea - in amongst my mother’s photos, shes visited a lot of the UK and Germany but doesn’t recognise it at all .

Wondering if anyone recognises? It would probably be mid 80s-1998 or so .

It's London looking upstream from Tower Bridge. That's HMS Belfast on the left and the Tower of London on the right.

It looks different around there now because of all the development, City Hall etc.

On closer inspection, it's taken from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Milton Keynes? York perhaps?

You took it from Tower Bridge. You can see Traitors Gate and HMS Belfast.

I genuinely thought that was York! On the Ouse

Intrigued as to how they’d float HMS Belfast up the Ouse …..

It’s recognisably London, but a London on the edge of my child/teenage memory, I think. Maybe late 80s?

What does everyone think as to date?

That's definitely the Foyle. Strabane on the right (you can just about see part of Asda behind that pale building), Lifford on the left. Are you sure your dates are right? I can't remember when Strabane got the big Asda.
