They want to watch something they call “Gish”. It’s not fish (so not finding nemo, etc). It’ll either be something on Disney+, Netflix or BBC iPlayer, but I’m at a loss about what it is! All the ones I have suggested so far are not it, so any help would be great, thanks!

Looloo kids on Netflix?

Looloo kids on Netflix?

Not that either. They said “no that’s baby” so I really thought it’d be an animal, but the only ish I can think of is fish but they keep saying no!

Tish Tash on CBeebies?

Louise0701 · 13/05/2022 13:10

Not sure but can you hold them upto the screen whilst you scroll through so they can point to it? 😂

Baby shark on little baby bum or cocomelon?

Do they want to eat fish fingers?

Could it be dish? Dish ran away with a spoon?

Definitely something they want to watch! And they say shark when they see one, so I don’t think it’s baby shark.

Could it be cheese….?!

My toddler went through a phase of asking for “ocker” which actually turned out to be “rocket” and then further turned out to be a specific episode of peppa pig where she goes in to space on a rocket. Took us a loooong time to work that one out

Oh no!! I have no idea sorry!

Snorkellingaround · 13/05/2022 13:19

Luca on Disney he gets a mermaid tail. Lilo and Stitch on Disney?

Can you ask who else is in it? Or to tell you about Gish?

Could he be talking about a kiss? Daisy from in the night garden blows kisses.

Or kitchen? Cbeebies has a programme called My World Kitchen they play at lunchtimes.

Iknownothing · 13/05/2022 13:20

Could it not be the name of a programme but them repeating you saying ‘do you want to watch THIS’ and them thinking the programme is called ‘this’ or ‘gish’

I’ve tried asking them for more details, but they only say Gish. They know how to say Upsy Daisy when they want to watch the night garden, and blitz and bobs for the other one they usually watch on iPlayer.
They said no to Lilo and stitch.

I’m thinking it probably is a specific episode, as they’ve watched Bluey 10000000 times, but even then when I show them Bluey they say no.

Can you ask if there’s anything in the house/toy box which is what they want? I get the struggle my 4 YO DS has a speech disorder and it’s really difficult to understand and when this happens he grabs what it is he’s trying to say (god bless him!)

Times10 · 13/05/2022 13:26

They’re currently watching Toy toy (toy story) but it’s not Gish.
I will definitely update the thread if we finally discover what it is!
