I (and pretty much everyone I've met) say 'broccol-ee'

PILs say 'broccol-eye'. I think my grandaprents used to as well.

Who is actually right? Is it an age thing?

@FreezerBird The wife was actually a classicist, so probably no stranger to a broccolus.

My ex SIL was Australian and called it broc uh lie. She rhymed it when referring to the dish "cheese and broccoli pie".

Brocc-oh-lee

but sometimes I put on a pretend posh voice and ask DD if she would like Broc-Oh-lye (as in sounds like E-coli 😂) amuses her!

Brock o lee.

DH is a Londoner and says Brockley, which is also an area in the South East of the city.

There was a thing in the 70’s and early 80’s when people went out of their way to deliberately mispronounce “forrin” names for things, or try and artificially create their own accent for the same word. Broccol-eye is from that era. So was making the “a” in pasta short so it wasn’t “pahsta” but rhymed with Shasta.

Lee....at the end

When I was growing up my parents called it all 'calabrese' pronounced cala-bress

Having just googled it, it seems to be a type of sprouting broccoli. But we called it all that.
